- Taking delivery of my 2022 Tesla Model S refresh/refresh from Irvin delivery center. We were so excited to accept our dream car. Thanks to my family's member help supporting me to accepting this delivery day. This car was manufactured in June 2022 from Fremont, California. We take delivery on July 9, 2022. I ordered this Model S back of November 2021. We been waiting patiently for this car about 8 months period. It's worth a wait in my opinion. We did receive this Model S with refresh-refresh Swivel 17" Screen, Refresh Matrix Headlights, Taillights and the Refresh Charging Port Door. This is an amazing vehicle in my opinion.

You need to do that for ANY car. Think about it no one was mentioning panel gaps until Tesla started making cars and their Fremont factory used to be a Ford factory. All of Tesla's Gigafactories were made from the ground up but Fremont only got retooled since it was/is a ICE legacy factory. No "panel gaps" have been discovered on the vehicles from the gigafactories only Fremont.

I think it's because ALLLL of their cars are riddled with defects, they aren't even trying to pretend to care about quality as they do more and more to move units. You have to understand that this is NOT an Audi or Lexus. They've given people cars with wood and duct tape in them. Parts of the $120K + Model S plaid is held on by HOT GLUE
I’ve got a Tesla coming in a week but it’s a model y long range. If I was single, I would buy a model s, but since I’ve got a family, I just decided to get a model y due to its larger size.

Hi, congrats on your beautiful new Model S. But I don't understand what is Model S Refresh-Refresh?? What's Refresh-Refresh? Lol
Thank you. It means they want to give refresh look for some new features such as a swivel 17" screen, redesign of the new tail light, and new charging port's door, adding double glass door's windows to give better insulation and upgrades to a matrix headlights for better visibility. However, the overall structural and frame of the car still look the same.

I believe starting from 2021 & earlier 2022 model s is considered first refresh, now with the new few redesigned on the latest 2022 model s that I mentioned in the video, I called refresh-refresh that's just my opinion. Sorry if I confused you.

I am supposed to have the same color blue with the cream interior sometime in the early or mid part of August. Also ordered in November.
Congratulations, blue is best color for the model S in my opinion. Hope you get the sport 21" wheels instead of 19". I only have possession of owning for one week, I deeply fall in love in every aspect of this rocket car Lol. You will not regret of owning this amazing car. Great video! I stumbled on your video randomly. I just took delivery of 2023 bmw m240i in early Jan and was thinking to buy a model 3 performance too as a daily. I am debating if i need to wait till later to get the newly designed model 3.

Congratulations, Sir. It will put a big smile on your face. Speaking of the common quality issues, I believe Tesla did step up on these common issues. Not to say everything is perfect, but it is getting a lot better. My brother just took delivery of the 2023 model 3 performance this year, and it's 99.9% perfect. We are all happy with this car. So, did Tesla step up their quality control on their vehicles? in my opinion, "Yes." Thank you for watching, Sir.

Props on the walkie talkie that’s so Asian thing to do. And bringing the whole fam to help inspect and do photo ops. We’ve had four Telsa cars and my wife was the only one that went with me. She didn’t even want to go when it was my cars. But she was fine when it was hers lol. Congrats on the Model S

Nice car, I got the plaid in ultra red, there are many panel issues but are pretty small that no one will point out just me, but is because I have owned german cars all my life
Any issues of the tires getting worn out fast?
There are no issues with the tires worn out at this point. These are Michelin PS4 tires. I believe these are summer tires. I have had the car about over a year now. I just have a little over 9800 miles on it. We did about 6 to 7 long road trips so far. Fortunately, the threadwear still looks new. Thank you for watching, Macky.

Yes, it's the "Air Force One Presidential Crew" hat. I believe he bought that hat at the air show in San Diego for his kid a few years back. Hope I answered your questions. Thank you for watching T.Q.

Panel gaps should be the last thing you worry about.....check the software, electronics, power train, and suspension first.

Hi Seth, great video and funny how you are way more excited than the fam. Mine was the same way. Went to pick mine up solo because wanted to take it in. I had a question. Mine came with the same mis-aligned rear hatch. It sticks up on the driver's side. You mentioned in the video Tesla said it was out of spec. They told me was out of spec but they couldn't do anything about it. Were they able fix yours? Thanks mate!
Hi Frank, thanks for watching my video. Yes, I'm excited cuz of the waiting being too long 😆. My very initial service was on July 22, 2022 at Santa Ana Tesla service center but they were unable to completed my service requested as I mentioned in the video, however, they did fix the driver side door mis-aligned and the vibration, and plus some minor trim mis-align panels. Therefore, they re-schedule me for the second service to go over the mis-aligned rear hatch on August 5. Will let you know by then. Hope you subscribe to my channel to see my updates. Thanks

Hi, I’m getting my model s 2022 on July 29, 2022. I’m told that I ll not be getting the FOB keys. Did you order the fob ? Or it came with and the same with the charger. Any tip on a delivery day.
Congratulations, you will love this car no doubt. This car is amazing, and crazy fast! FOB keys & CHARGER came with the car during the time I order back in November 2021. However, I heard if you order after March 2022 it will not come with the car ☹. Please fat check me on that???. On your delivery day make sure go through the panels gap and have Tesla personnel walk thru all the features of the car to make sure everything works. Check all cameras, make sure get the latest software updated. After all, I'm very happy with the car. Welcome to Tesla fam👍

You should be getting fobs. The 3/Y don't come with fobs. Maybe that's what that person was thinking
