this is the first time a performance of New Directions actually seemed like high schoolers were performing. No shade to this cast, they were good but it's clear that if this was the original cast, the show would not have made it.
So I liked very little about this cast. The characters had poorly fleshed-out stories and felt forced. However, this performance feels like a real high school full of real teenagers did it. As opposed to a Hollywood set full of broadway performers. So I give them credit for that. (I love lea but girl was not a 15 year old in anyway shape or form and made the whole show feel a bit fake.)
Who the fuck are these people? They're so painful to watch. For me Glee ended on season three with Rachel singing ¨Roots before Branches¨, I like to pretend the rest never happened and Glee was never ruined.
Can we appreciate that the guy with long hair is actually Billie Eilish's older brother and went on to write half her music..❤❤❤
