When I was a child I was a little afraid of them. So tall with that hair and specific clothes and also I live in a coutry where theres no black people so all together they really made a strong impression on me, like they are from other planet. Now, all I see is hooot🤣
What the hell at the very end of the song the volume got lower while they were still singing just like on the record for god sake. People didn’t know that they were lip-synching.???
It was known that these shows usually used playback. Probably used the original because that's what they practiced with instead of recording a studio live version.
It’s a TV show, they are always lip syncing in these shows, especially in the 80s and 90s and it is no secret. The „scandal“ was because they didn’t sang on the recordings.
It’s obvious anyway when you hear the guys talking. Rob had this very thick bavarian/german accent that was all of a sudden completely gone and switched into perfect american english with an east coast accent when he allegedly sang. It was so obvious that it couldn’t be him.
In hindsight it may be obvious, but an accent when you speak, doesn't have to mean that you van hear that when you're singing.

Fab can sing, he still makes music and sings live. Frank never let them sing themselfes. There is a documentary on paramunt + which sheds a light on everything. worth to watch frank was not the nice guy. I have videos of Fabs performances on my channel.
