Maybe I'm just a crotchety old millennial and I realize there's a market for it right now but the weird way that everything is mic'd now to appeal the the ASMR weirdos drives me crazy. The scraping is so loud 😅

when you spoke of a bench grinder my solution came to mind. had operated bench grinder. don't know if they still make them but you can find them at flea markets, ebay and such. removes the fear of removing temper and provides a much slower and easier pace in sharpening/grinding

Brilliant Alec . Thanks again for the advice on lighting , just placed an order for one 👍
Just had a sale of Christmas carvings …..people’s tastes in what they like …..It was amazing watching people choosing something. I had small carvings for Christmas tree decorations, small Santa carvings , large Santa carvings and Wood Spirits ……..some more detailed than others …..some painted , some not . The carvings that sold were the ones with least detail but painted ! Great day and learned a lot .
