if elevation tracking is important to you, then go with S3 coz i think it has a barometer, the redmi watch 4 doesnt.. and i think S3 has dual band GPS which is said to be more accurate than multi satellites GPS.. of course it costs more..

Well looks exactly like the Redmi Watch 3... So HyperOS is just nothing. You can't even minimize stopwatch, makes no sense. Needs multitask.

@@TechBrothersReviews HyperOS indeed runs on Android but with their own customisation theme. But I'm not sure if this watch runs on Android or not. If it has Google services (Google Play Store, Google Assistant, etc.), it means it runs on Android

At least it's better than older models that run the same proprietary os (example: Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite)
Hyper OS is a fraud - on phones it's just MIUI 15 really, they didn't change enough to warrant a whole re-brand. On the watch it just looks like that generic chap smartphone OS which you find on the Mibro and Hayou type watches. Just change a few graphics and give it a new name - stop it Xiaomi.

@@TechBrothersReviews It is simply an Android fork just like Color "OS" and the rest. One of my developer phones is a Xiaomi one with HyperOS and I have to turn on the Android developer mode to work so it is Android. Xiaomi only made some UI changes, rest its BS Huawei started when the US screwed them over and had to lie about not using Android anymore. Even today you can easily find android file names in Harmony "OS".
@@PortfolioPL You're talking about Xiaomi smartphones, and I agree with you that HyperOS for phones is based on Android. However, Redmi Watch 4 most likely running on RTOS, not Android.
