small undyne mode script update

- woah it actually kinda looks decent now?
theres still a buncha features id like to add and a ton of bugs i have to fix, but i gotta say it already looks much better from the previous one (me when actual effort gets put into this thing)
one big problem is those switching yellow notes though. god i am too stupid to actually make that, but im trying my best to make it work
i dont want to scrap a really important feature but if i cant code it then ill just publish the script without that, sorry
oh and you might be wondering, does the shield thing work? well, its just there for decoration honestly to give the more "undyne fight" feel to it, though i do wonder if an undertale accurate shield would be possible to make in fnf
for now im still working on it, buuuut if youd like to test out the script, give me some suggestions or help out (especially on the yellow notes), feel free to leave a comment or dm me on discord!

Switch the up and down arrows so it actually feels correct, its weird to see green arrows pointing down and blue arrows pointing up.

Undertale as a rhythm game is the thing i didnt know i needed

id kill to get a rhythm game undertale mod/fangame where you have to do things on beat kinda like crypt of the necrodancer and just shapes and beats together

thought I'd had to watch ten thousand tutorials on how to code 💀
Technically if you think about it you CAN play Undertale as a rhythm game because you move in 4 cardinal directions most of the time and for going diagonally you can use hold or 'jump' notes. (doubles)
So in reality if you wanted to you could script a boss fight like Sans or Undyne by just charting out the optimal path for dodging their various attacks. The only problem with that is Sans has randomized attack patterns in his second half and if you don't attack him to progress dialogue he doesn't progress to his next attack pattern.
Tbh though, if you gave a DDR pro player a charted Sans fight they would beat it hitless on their first try due to how good they are at getting PFC's on any song, especially the hard ones. You throw anything on challenge mode and it's instantly harder than the Sans fight and I've tried both. I can confidently beat Sans time and time again but I have yet to beat a single DDR challenge song with one exception being Xepher with like a C rank.
Okay I know it’s be impossible to do without a complete rework of everything but imagine a mod that had this, that one expurgation walking mod and then regular fnf, ultimate undyne the undying experience
I planned on making a full on Undertale mod (I know real original. Not like there's several of those already) in FNF, and when I was thinking of how I would make Undyne's week, I always thought of a mechanic that would work just like this.
Basically, I really like how this looks!
just need to turn the arrow into undyne spears and is going to be perfect
they could add a yellow diamond in the middle of the note's to indicate spears that stab in the back on different lanes
now make yellow notes >:)

I remember when i was working on a mod with this mechanic a while back! it was coded by nld, and learning to chart it was rlly fun! That mod never got finished tho, so I’m glad to see someone reviving the idea!

Man, its super hard to master along with the fact that the arrows come from the opposite side it's supposed to but its fun :>
(Edit) According to the video the arrows do come from the same side but for my case it doesn't
(Edit 2) My up is where my down is and my down is where my up is and it's the same for my left and right

If i may, the player had more feedback time on left and right than on up and down due to the aspect ratio, so maybe you could make it a square to make things more even?
