My brother used to work for Cadbury and always brought back all kinds of chocolate confections. It’s a wonder I didn’t end up with a mouthful of cavities for all the chocolate I was “testing”.
I went Cadbury World on a coach trip in the late 90s, a really great day out, looks a lot different today with all the interactive exhibits. I remember the chocolate shop where you could buy massive bags of all the Cadbury misshapes 😋 thanks for the video Stu and Lisa.
Hi Julie. Funny you should mention the misshapes. We were going to buy a big bag but ended up forgetting! Came away with plenty of other things though, including lots of freebies!
Hello Stu🙋♀️ Now you have made me crave for some Chocolate 🍫 What a wonderful exhibition. I am sure I had the same chocolate machine🤔 and I had forgotten the “Wildlife Bars.” I also liked Bournville dark chocolate 🍫 Thanks for the sweet treat down Memory Lane📹
I got one of those square mugs a good 20-25 years ago. Great bit of memorabilia but horrendous to drink out of! Not somewhere I'd want to go, definitely not vegan friendly, obviously.
After watching the video I couldn't help notice all of the plush toys, but I didn't see the one that I have...The one and only Calvin the Camel who promoted Cadbury's Picnic. He was yours for nine Picnic Wrappers and postage.
Rose Brothers of Gainsborough in Lincolnshire, aka Roses, producing packing machines and packaging including some used by Cadbury's, there's a rumour the chocolates were named after the company but there's no evidence to prove or disprove the rumour. I think it's just an urban myth but any kids who had a parent working there probably came by broken biscuits and chocolates from various companies at some point.
Memories of when you got your money's worth & not overpriced like today , thank you Stu 😊😊
My pleasure!

I would love one of them Cadbury chocolate mugs in the gift shop. Much morre useful than the teapots.
I went to Cadbury world many years ago and really enjoyed it there!
Yes, it's a really enjoyable day. Our first time there but we will definitely go again.

Marvellous!
You should check out London's brand and advertising museum
Yes, that's one place we really want to go to.

I have gone off Roses since they changed the chocolates!
