Gurl listen, I did this with regular synthetic faux locs and actually added in the curly pieces. It was gorgeous but took me 2 days to install. We not even gonna talk about the takedown. I may try these. I would totally stay away from the mousse and just use a leave in since its human hair but this came out beautiful. Great job!❤
since stumbling on your videos a year or two ago, ask me if I've gone to someone else to do my crotchet locs? nope! 😎😎 really helped me out and I don't have much hair experience!!
You make this look so easy and effortless!!! 😍😍 I want to do this style so bad but I’m scared my hair might get tangled up with the faux locs and/or I might cut my hair. 😭😭😭.
As you should be, be very afraid. This method was used on my long hair and I lost half of my hairs thickness and more than half the length when I took it out. Looping it through your braids instead of the base makes them difficult to find when removing because you don’t know where they are. Especially if someone else does it. And I think that demon of a hair “stylist” also used glue on some of it. It added so much tension to my hair being put through the braid like this instead of the top by the root of the hair. Another thing is I ended up with the hair being 3-4 inches longer than I wanted it to be because she looped it 3-4 inches down in my braids instead of near my scalp. Also, if you have long hair you’ll have to wrap the braiding hair all the way down until you cover your natural hair, which for me is nearly the entire loc so it just doesn’t make sense and the loc can end up bulky from wrapping all of them like that. Seems that longer hair is best using the braiding hair to wrap/loc it while adding the curly hair as you go, or attaching the faux loc at the base and pulling the hair through, OR using the braid down method for the appearance of individual locs. Just my personal experience with it that may help others. In fact I’m going to copy this to a new comment.
@@The_Variantthank you so much for sharing your experience with longer hair! I was wondering about this. My natural hair is about 16-18inches and haven’t seen a tutorial with longer hair
@@DrBridgitteMonique No problem at all, my hair is just now back to the length, but I’m still slowly trimming it every few months to even it out because of how uneven it was from the breakage. I’ve never done the pull through method, but many say it works well for them. I’m thinking about trying it, but I’m traumatized so I’ve been thinking about it all year 😂
I just heard this week that wax gels are great for textured hair types. I haven’t tried it but I have a couple in my Amazon cart. Allyiah’s Face also uses Fonex Gummy styling wax ultra hold I believe. And I’ve seen several others share great feedback. I’m going to purchase one or two types soon to try! It looks absolutely gorgeous on you though! Great job as always 😍 I’m looking for bday styles for next month.
Thank-u, I was waiting 4 this video. I have a str8 4ward pattern , on how 2 install boho faux locs, 4 naturals like me that have 2 utilize crochet method. Thanks again👍👍🎉🎉💕💕.
I don't think you can. At least I haven't figured it out when it's individual like that. If you want to reuse your locs, the best method is cornrows and crotched the entire hair.

I braid my loc into my hair That way when i take down i literally just have to loose my braid And i really try my best to wrap flat so the wrapping hair doesn't get too matted and tangled. The longer you keep it in, the more it merges with your hair
This way is actually TERRIBLE !! you must not use that extra hair for wrapping and loop it at the root to prevent any hair shedding it’s very difficult to do it this way
If you get the pic from @meriahneely please show all of us. I’ve never seen a dope “tucked” braid yet….your method is fool proof and easy. Some folks just got negative spirits chile….🤷🏽♀️ Anyways… your nails are bomb too!
I love how you were thorough of how many locs you had...thanks girl!

This is what I love to hear 👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️ happy I could offer that help
Love this.!!!! Could you please make a video of how you would take them down
Yes. Please
This dropped just in time, I was thinking of doing some faux locs on myself
Yayyyyy I’ve been waiting for this tutorial ❤. Every hairstylist I know charges an arm and a leg for these
Definitely beginner friendly 💯👏👏👏❤️. Cute finish 👌

The review I been waiting for!! Thank you!!
Wow your hair is beautiful!! I am new to your channel loved your vacation videos!!❤❤❤
Thank you so much!!
Hey Chev, I'm loving the faux locs. They're fire.
The hair is giving 😍
This is beautiful! You made it look so easy
Thank you! 😊

They look so good
I love this! Do you think it’ll work the same to do over medium length locs?
Definitely should work
defo trying in this new year 💗 you did so well💕
Yesss you have to! Thank you ☺️
This is 🔥! What length did you get in that spring twist hair that you used to wrap around the locs?
These are neat 😊
Glad you like them!
You’re so beautiful 😍 and omg the hair is so good 😍😇♥️💕

Great style…simply gorgeous ❤
How would you take them out and still be able to re use the locs ?

You wouldn’t be able to reuse them as locs, but I have seen people use the hair to do something else like feed in braids/ cornrows.
Unravel the hair wrapped around then slide it out
My gorgeous gorgeous girl 😍
Love it!! ❤❤
Thank you!!
Love this!❤
BEAUTIFUL
STUNNING
😍 ❤ 😍
FLAWLESS💞
Please please please do a take down video 🙏🏾
Love this! 🔥🔥🔥
Tha KS, I been doing it wrong this helps!

Sounds like you need a new stylist 😢
@@daniejackson1227 I only went to her once. I just shared my experience to save some hair 😂 That way y’all know what to watch out for,
I braid my loc into my hair
That way when i take down i literally just have to loose my braid
And i really try my best to wrap flat so the wrapping hair doesn't get too matted and tangled.
The longer you keep it in, the more it merges with your hair
How many packs of each did you use
Can I get it on Amazon with the same hair and the same method and the same way?
I haven’t tried crochet locs with human hair on Amazon so I can’t vouch for it
Pretty.
It’s not “Boo-hoo” lol it’s Boho. “Bow-Ho” is how it’s pronounced.
Thanks
Their braids were really heavy. I had to take them out. I wonder if these are heavy.
Did you just pronounce them (boo who)???💀💀😭🤣 never heard no one pronounce it that way, thats funny
❤️
U Jamaican 😊?
Yes I am
This way is actually TERRIBLE !! you must not use that extra hair for wrapping and loop it at the root to prevent any hair shedding it’s very difficult to do it this way
This is just more unnecessary work. Tuck the braid into the loc smh
Wait… no one is forcing you to do “unnecessary work”. Send me some pictures let me see how yours look
Thats how my stylist does it, but not the whole head, ima try it with the whole head individually so i can wear it up. Ty.
You clicked on the video, sat down , and watched it, just to leave this comment ? just more unnecessary work
