Oh just found this song! Sorry Ray! My daughter chose Let It Be Me for her Daddy/Daughter dance after he survived insurmountable odds to survive a double lung transplant. He fought for us, he was there to walk her down the aisle and she chose YOU, your beautiful voice and song to celebrate our miracle. You are forever woven into the fabric of our family. So many years ago, I heard someone on American Idol sing "Trouble" by Ray lamontagne and my soul dragged me to UA-cam. I had to find out who this genius was. What was that maybe 15 years ago. I've been hooked since. So many poems I've written listening to Ray. Simplicity is genius but the unsettled heart craves clutter. You are a special kind of someone if Ray makes you feel. 🙏🏾
