- Опубліковано 17 вер 2024
- PLOT: A shy new engine arrives on the railway and has to double head her first train with Sadie. But with a mix of belittling and improper use of a emergency cable, how will the new arrival fair on her first day?
Wow, it's only been a week and another new episode is here. It's not like me to do this sort of upload schedule. Does this mean episode 12 will be uploaded next week? That's currently the plan, but we'll have to wait and see. Anywho, here is the first of two episodes to be written by my good friend Daniel Alsop and please welcome probably the most new comers to the series:
Spo0derGwen
Trainz4Days
Luca Dollar
GalaxyQueen
MiketheHelpfulEngine
and Steampwrdcyborg
Production notes:
1: I was having trouble trying to write Alice's introductory episode. Then Daniel asked me if he could write it and I said yes. I'm sure he'll give his side of the story in the comments.
2: The original title was just: 'Alice and the Emergency Cable' but I added Sadie's name in too as she does have a lead role in this too.
3: A lot of stock footage from season 1 is used in this. That's mainly my fault for not filming enough footage. It's very obvious towards the end and I really must apologize for that.
4: Aside from Alice, this episode introduces Somerset. AKA the Jinty you see at the junction throughout the previous seas.
5. This is the first episode where episodes flow into one another as you'll see in the next episode. Something that wasn't really present in the first season.
6. This episode has the most number of voice actors. Usually there's 4, 5 or 6, but this one tops that by having 10 voice actors. Could this be topped in the future? Wait and see.
7. This episode is the first that takes place in 1998.
NOTE: I don't own Thomas
Great work Dom and I’m quite impressed with how it turned out since I first wrote the script, when I heard about the new character Alice, I asked Dom if I could write her episodes and he said yes, so I got to work (at first I had writers block) and because it’s my first time writing for the series, I just gave Alice 2 simple stories, the 2nd one you’ll see next time.
Thanks for giving me a chance Dom, been waiting for a chance to write for someone for a long time and this cheered me up from my struggles this year, looking forward to my 2nd written episode :)
Daniel Alsop did a brilliant job on writing for this episode. And well done to everyone involved in this. Looking forward to the next episode!
That was an awesome story. Alice looks cool and Spo0derGwen does an excellent voice for her. Erlestoke appearing again was excellent and I loved how we were introduced to Somerset, his voice fits him just right. What a voice he had. I loved the new scenery shots and coaches that were used. I am loving Series 2 so far. Keep this up Dom and well done to Kirsty and Spo0derGwen for their performances of Sadie and Alice 😀😀😀👍👍👍👏👏👏.
This was such a brilliant story, Dom! Everyone did spectacular, especially Gwen as Alice. And I’m glad to be of service here. :)
Kudos!
Impressive episode Dom and I got two word of Alice
1.similer as Duck
And 2...adorable 😍😍
Well done, Dom! I was so happy and excited to be in this! Can't wait for future episodes and contact me for any future roles. :)
Thumbs up👍👍
Maria (or Gwen, if she prefers) does a wonderful job voicing Alice! She's so adorbs! 😍
An interesting episode Dom, I think it was a nice way to introduce Alice to the forest light railway
Sorry I’m late, but once again this was brilliant! Loved the introduction for Alice, sets were beautiful! Can’t wait for the next one!
Another week Another awesome episode Dom and I already like Alice's personality she's a nervous but sweet engine
Erlestoke deserved her punishment. Great episode btw. Nice to see a new addition to the Forest Light Railway fleet.
This is a cool episode and I like the introducion of Alice and Somerset.
I researched about the GWR Manor Class, and they were classified as 5MT by British Railways. So Erlestoke is really a mixed traffic engine so she can pull both passengers and goods trains quite easily. I see she dosen't like pulling goods trains despite her classification
I'm glad that LMS mogul was nicer than Erlestoke
I had a feeling that Manors were mixed traffic engines but never knew tget classified as 5MTs under British Railways.
That Alice is so adorable!😊
Great episode by the way, mate!
This is an awesome episode Dom! Well done! 👍:D
I like how Mr Harris mentioned Sadie’s Great Western, nice nod to her origins being the GWR Class 101!
I would definitely like to do something centered around that. The history of the real life GWR Class 101 is really interesting to me.
Dom you have done it again! Great work!
I’m a bit late to view this episode but I really enjoyed it. Well done
Loved Alice as a Character!
You know you'll be happy when ever Dom uploads a new video!
Question: What class is Alice? We know she is a pannier but is she a 57xx, 64xx or a 54xx?
She's meant to be a 6400 GWR pannier tank or better known as a smaller pannier. But I think the model I have speaks otherwise. Then again the smaller panniers and some regular panniers do have non round porthole cabs which was common on the smaller panniers so it's easy to get the two mixed up.
Yet another great episode!
I like Sadie. She's a very nice engine.
Another amazing story
Awesome Job on Steam Railway Stories Ep 11 TankEngine97
You and Daniel Alsop Have Done Good
Glad to See 2 New Faces on The Forest Light Railway I Especially Like El Stoke Getting Punished For Teasing Alice She Deserves it
This was fantastic! Great job
Amazing work
I Can't Wait to See What Happens to Alice with That One Passenger
Also to See If Taylor Will Come and Cause Trouble For Dom and His Friends or if She Had Change While Dom Was Gone
Spotted a goof at 6:11. As Sadie and Alice depart, the forward wheels of the rear coach derail while going round the points.
Awesome Episode As Usual👍
Nice episode dom. Alice seems nice. Also what about tankers? They help carry liquids like oil, fuel, water even milk. Just curious, sorry if it sounds like berating.
The clay faces remind me of Big Engine 87’s series, Modern Railroad.
Awesome Story
That was a brilliant video!
Those twin boys sounds like Bill and Ben
Whenever the narrator said there would be a sequel to the original as "Troublesome Engine" doesn't mean that this is true. They lied to us.
It's my opinion BTW.
I wonder if Erlestoke's comeuppance might be regarding why she was at the Scrapyard at the end of Dom's Genesis.
Nice episode
0:22 Duncan/Douglas cameo
8:12 Goof; I only saw one boy, it's supposed to be 2 like the conductor said.
Alice sounds like Fluttershy from MLP FiM
10:20 Insert Barry the Rescue Engine
7:43
Did the middle passenger car derail on the switches?
Yep. No how matter many takes I did, these coaches always seem to derail on corners and points. In fact they derail quite a few times in this episode.
@@TankEngine97 have u considered getting replacement light passenger cars or replacing the axles?
@@mikestudioz216 I'm most likely going to get Hornby's new coaches that released last year I believe. They're roughly the same shape and some have a livery that matches the one on this coaches.
@@TankEngine97 Good man! Hopefully there won’t be any more derailments
Amazing story! May I ask if i can adapt your boco and Henry story?
The jinty station pilot are u going to do more of him and the class 08 shunter to?
Not that I'm rushing you, but when will Dom and Taylor meet again?
Little panniers are great locos there not liter's of the line
Plus when is Taylor the black saddle tank dom enemy to going to come into the picture
10:17 Does that engine beside Alice have a name?
1:20
6:11
I spotted a goof
How do you animate the eyes
And how many more episodes are there
