Isaac Heeney is the only Swans player ive ever met it was against Carlton at the MCG in 2017 when we lost. He was kicking goals before the game and seen us by the fence, we didnt even call out to him and he ran straight over too us randomly and got photos with me and brother, he is almost too pure for this world he is by far my favourite player in the AFL, he is such a caring, hard working, down to earth human and deserved the brownlow this year honestly, he has such a massive impact every game
We (Aussie Rules community) are so lucky we didn’t lose him to Rugby League. Who would have ever thought the best player in the comp will be from the Newcastle Region.
@@PinpadpromptsBecause the Brownlow is an award for mostly midfielders and Heeney was part of possibly the greatest midfield of modern times with Warner en Gulden by his side. Those two took many votes off him.
A deadset gem of a player and a nice bloke ta boot. Tbh That grab was by far the best specky this season its a pity that its only the round games that count in the mark and goal of the year. Good luck champion 🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥
And not once has he presented any evidence that Sydney (or any other club receiving COLA) did anything against the rules. Not once. He pushed this crap through his high profile position in the media while president of another club. That's what should have been investigated by the AFL and they didn't.
Impressive bloke and in my eyes the best player in the competition this year. But I don’t like Sydney I feel they are to Hollywood go Brisbane. I’m tipping Charlie Cameron as Norm Smith
In approximately 50 hours, that smile is going to be wiped from his face to one of utter depression. Swans still yet to recapture their early season form. Lions by 11 points
@@angusdalton9320 I know footy. Most don’t. I’ve tipped 1 wrong tip for the entire finals series. Gee vs port. Champion data has predicted the last 19 premiers and this year at the start of the finals it said Brisbane wins it. To go against that incredible stat would be so dumb. But in any case, it’s obvious Brisbane r the better team. Sydney’s system will fall apart in the wide open spaces of the MCG. Brisbane r used to that space, Sydney aren’t. They’re going ti get their butts handed to em and I’ll bet anyone $100 they lose
I think Brisbane is more likely to win but I reckon it’ll be close. Sydney at their best are by far the best team this year, like in their last quarter against GWS. It just depends on the Swans side that shows up. I would say the swans side that beat port would probably beat Brisbane as honestly port didn’t do terribly, just poor inside fifty entries. I reckon Brisbane will win, but I think it won’t be a surprise if Swans pull throug
Try living in Sydney lol they also aren’t earning millions a few of them might be but very few lose half their income to tax too but yeah just like getting a bonus for performing well in a normal job
It’s not about what the players need - it’s simply an advertising gimmick. Giving away a $100k+ car to have had months of Eddie talking about Lexus of Blackburn is worth every cent to that company.
It's advertising for Lexus. It's money for Channel 9. It's an incentive for the players. It's not that hard to figure out. If you don't want wealthy people being rewarded for outstanding results, then go live in a communist country like North Korea.

Seems like a nice guy
It’s a pity though they got a shalacking against the lions on the weekend though
I love the way he goes about it on and off the field
Sif. Like you know what he does off the field.
Definition of a champion the way the bloke carries himself on and off the field. Deserves two medallions around his neck.
Best player in the comp
How does Cripps get more votes than this guy?

Nah he ain’t better than harry schoenberg for Adelaide
What a top lad. Can't stand him on the field, but can't fault his manner.
He is a deadset legend !

Honestly, his one-hander earlier in the game was is a top 5 mark for me too. And his last goal is one of the best goals I have seen this season.
Eddie you are a bloody champion for the game…
‘We’re all through it (COLA), forget that…’ Except Eddie never forgets.

He and parker are one or the few players ive seen debut in a side and become a part of the full team, props to sydney acadamy
Parker not an academy product
@Joe-rn8tj isn't he i thought he did my bad he just kind of appeared of nowhere
Without the academy we wouldn’t have this future legend playing our game
Class
Did they just make up an award to give Heeney 🎉

Hot misso
How could that be the best game of the year, what about Cripps, obviously a far superior player to Heeny, ask the umps.
A true Aryan of the AFL.

It’s Mills fault ! Not professional enough !
What's he on, a million a year. Why give him free car? Seems gluttonous to me.
He is not on a million
It’s marketing 😂 he will probably not even drive that car
Never heard the saying “the rich get richer, the poor get poorer”?
Blame Lexus. As already said by others. It’s all marketing.
A million might be close to min wage in the NBA and NFL lol
let the man get his car
