Just wondering how your Italian is . With having to go shopping for supplies and such is the language a major barrier . I’m a DIY guy myself but sometimes it’s nice to have a plan B FRIEND to help out when you get in a jam.
There is not much English spoken in the Salento. It helps to take a basic Italian course. I use Duolingo online, which is okay. UA-cam is also a great resource for basic Italian vocabulary. I watch a lot of DIY videos in Italian and use translated subtitles, so I've been developing a vocabulary of construction terminology. Salento with Love is my Plan B!
@@CasaStefano I retired at the onset of Covid with the expectation of travel to Northern Pulia where we have family that we have never met. All that fell through through. Now I’m planning to divest of my rental properties in Ohio and have this CRAZY idea of buying a property in Salento. Is that nuts or what!!
