- It has been a long time since I've made a single stump video and this is the first of this perspective shot in 4K resolution. Also trying something different with the audio in this video. There weren't many abrupt or jarring sounds outside, so I've made very minor adjustments to the audio. You'll hear the outside noises and traffic that is much more true to life.
Is this a better change with the more natural sound, or do you like the more edited sound better? Our cats don't seem to mind either way. Please let us know what you think in the comments!
Some notable moments in the video:
- I know everyone doesn't have them in their area, so at 00:13:20 (and again at 00:21:52) you can have an up-close view of a Black Squirrel.
- A female American Red Squirrel is the star of this video. She hides a peanut in a planter at 00:36:01. She spends some time talking to us at 00:52:45. At 01:27:12 she finds a super secret hiding spot for a peanut 😉. At 01:29:15 she decides to eat some Tulips.
- Our resident Groundhog shows up at 02:30:19.
- An Eastern Cottontail Rabbit comes to join us at 04:59:48

This video is amazing, my cat looks out of my bedroom backdoor but she never gets to see this much action, i am 2 hours into the video and she has been watching for half of that,she was an outdoor cat so she loves this she is wagging her tail like a dog and meowing at the squirrels, i was petting her and she stood up to sit closer to the tv, my cat loves it so i love it too.
