If I had a nickel for everytime Bri wins an elimination challenge, becomes team leader against Natashia, gets Krissy on her team, loses and goes into a pressure test, becomes part of the bottom two, and gets baited by having her opponent "remove their apron... and go upstairs", I'll have two nickels, which isn't a lot but its weird that it happened twice.

I don't see the issue? She could hate all asian food. Also to be fair she said chinese food, which makes it worse, because THEY'RE NOT SERVING EXCLUSIVELY CHINESE FOOD. Masterchef is so trash honestly, every time a chef cooks something from east asia it's always "asian food". Not Chinese, not Japanese, not Korean, Asian. Like fusion is great, don't have a problem with that. But the entire show goes insane when someone does Italian next to French or Spanish or whatever, it gets tiring when it is so hard for a chef to just do something specific when it comes to Asian.
The only asian cuisine they manage to differentiate as it's own is Indian i stg. Other than that it's only within challenges like make dimsum or that Japanese round(even then they include a california roll and call it traditional).

Not using hot water from tap for cooking/ingesting only applies for residential homes. Restaurants are usually built so hot tap is just as safe as cold; especially an upscale restaurant. They're not gonna have a system where they could be using bacteria-ridden water to cook peoples' food.
maybe you have trash tap water in na idk but all i can say is that in eu this is not the case. nowadays all water, so cold and hot, comes from the same supply and is equally safe to drink.
100 years ago this might have been different because houses had their own water storage that could be unsafe but this type of system is nowhere to be found nowadays even in old houses because they had to get replaced.
@@shakerr I live in Romania and its a pretty good apartment, but the hot water still comes out gray until it sits for a while and it becomes clear. Im thinking it might be the chemicals used to clean it or something and not bacteria though. The shower doesnt do that so idk.

I'm telling you right now that I guarantee a lot of plumbing in Europe has the same issue. It's universal, some places may not have it, and they are lucky. Hot water still holds more bacteria because it has to sit in the pipes to wait to get heated.

It’s predictable, not because it’s fully scripted but because they edit it that way, it gets really annoying.

When I worked in a warehouse, at first they were expecting quality, then they ask to keep it up while increasing quantity. Cooking is an art, some dishes do need 3+ hours for biophysical reasons, but otherwise management isn't wrong when they expect a cook to be fast. Still, it's all about balance I'd argue. Work fast but don't rush, be slowly hasty ("festina lente").

what is xqc talking about with the hot water? does hot water work different in NA? for us it comes from the same place as the cold water, but is heated up in the hot water tank, and legally has to be drinkable and free from pathogens.

well its the thought that since the water is heated up and stored in the hot water tank until its used, your water tank could be contaminated with a bunch of weird shit since most of the time its also connected to your radiators for heating. So spiders,mice, etc might crawl into it. Or you could be like that one girl and get your dead body stuffed into the boiler.

Some countries have super clean tap water, Japan is the first country that comes to my mind. But you can of course boil it or filter it. Just watch out for scam filters or garbage quality filters.
