Periods stopping in water is a myth
In showers it may seem as so but it washes away quickly without you seeing and in pools if that were the case people wouldn’t need tampons

I do understand that in baths and things of that such it will slow down or come to a ‘stop’ due to water pressure but seemingly a lot of these comments are saying she can’t have it in the shower which had me confused cause she’s not submerged and gravity lol
But I still would not swim without a tampon cause who knows. Especially when you get out the water 😬
It's not a myth. When i take baths on my period theres never any blood. It's diffrent for every one.
And you would still need tampons because you can’t just take a shower for 3-7 days. Also, the blood still needs to go somewhere so...
They don't stop but the water pressure prevents blood coming out but of course the water pressure isn't too high so it can come out a little.
Simply RayRayLuv I leaked thorough a tampon when I went swimming. It was awkward and my niece walked in while I was trying to remove it 😬

My first period story:
I live in south Australia, so I start highschool in year 8, but primary school is from reception to year 7.
It was my first day of year 7. I was very excited because I was a senior in primary school. I went to the bathroom because, I needed to go. I was wearing and skirt and unicorn underwear. I looked in my underwear and saw browny red in my underwear. I had researched everything, so I knew what it was immediately. It was the morning still. I didn’t know what to do. Mid way through class, when my teacher was still talking, I told my friends and I just simply leaned over to them and whispered “I just got my period” and cringed. I had to tell my teacher. Luckily I had known my teacher since year 2, so I was fine telling her everything. I just said, “could I talk to you for a sec?” And she was like yeah, so she walked me over to the other side of the room and I told her “hey, I just got my period” and she just said “oh, okay wait here”. She went through the cuboard and got a purse with pads in it. She took me to the teacher prep room and she just told me everything about them and how pads works, even though I already knew. I went and put on the pad and then I called my mum. She just said, “oh okay. You can have children now! Oh no!” And things like that. It wasn’t too bad.
My first period lasted 4 and 1/2 days. Almost 5 days. My friend had a pool party and I went on my period. And went in the pool. I was fine
I got my period on the last day of year 6 whilst walking home.
That sucked. But it left for like 6 months and came back when I was in year 7 in the middle of my P.E class. 🤦🏽♀️
MY FIRST LASTED NINE DAYS 😩😩😩🤠🤠🤠😙😙😙👍👍👍👍 it was horrible and now ALL of them last nine days, eight at least 😌😌😌

FIRST PERIOD STORY:
So it was at around 6-7 pm. I was about to study with friends and had to go to the bathroom first. I looked down and saw a bloody mess in my underwear. I cried for a little and then got up. I told my mom, and she helped me find pads.
