what puzzles me about the building of this new bridge when I lived in Runcorn they was discussing the building of the new Mersey crossing and it was suppose to go the other side of the Runcorn Widnes bridge as it was going to be direct route to the John Lennon Airport for all traffic plus buses to make it easier for passengers catching flights what happened why did they change the construction site to where it is now

Well they kept that quiet. Living in Wales means it is further along the motorway for us to get to Liverpool Airport, or Liverpool.

Ruined by the music. It's far too intrusive and loud

if the really wanted a new bridge, why didn't the do the same as the welsh did and make a roadway over the rail bridge. works in wales and that carries all the traffic from Ireland to the rest of the country, and it would have much cheaper than building a brand new bridge.

Listed status, that bridge has turrets and battlements all over it it’s also why the road bridge was built to exactly the same height in order to blend in.
