it delivers hd quality videos,with mics designed for concert volumes.
A go pro will deliver a clear picture but will disappoint you in audio .

I have seen them on ebay ,asking price varies ,,I bought mine second hand as the previous owner never liked the x/y mics,
The 3hd has only a 4x zoom on the lens ,so you need to be fairly close to the subject ,
