I had a cat go into heat once. Happened a week before her spay appointment. It was awful for her and for us. But we definitely did NOT massage her ass end. We avoided that. Lol.

To help alleviate the cats heat symptoms she could play with her A LOT. But Chantal WOULD NEVER. She doesn’t give a crap. I have a baby who isn’t spayed right now & when she’s in heat, we play constantly throughout the day & it helps her soooo much.
I have gone back and watched the "meet our new family member" Chantal claimed: Julia was 4-5 months. Chantal was pestering Salah for a cat. Julia came from a family that is friends with Salah but accordingly to Chantal "they actually have a similar story to mine, they have to travel as well" and had to get rid of the cat. (Having to get rid of a 4-5 month old cat because you have to leave the country seems EXTREMELY sus) Chantal claimed that Julia is "vaccinated and everything. She's been vaccinated and well taken care of from the family we got her from, and yeah we will keep up on that" Chantal got a toothbrush and toothpaste for the cat. (Bet she's never even attempted to brush the cat's teeth) Chantal didn't even ask what Julia's name was before. (Of course not, there was NO family or name before)
This really strengthens the theory that she wants a do-over of the BBJ situation. She’s trying to recreate everything. A couple that has to make this huge sacrifice in order to travel and just so happens to have a BBJ look alike??

She didn't. I am sure she was left alone (cruel to begin with, companion animals need their human companions!) with a pile of dry food and then Salad's family looking in occasionally. And I bet the litterbox wasn't cleaned much or at all and the poor cat looked for new places to toilet as cats hate dirty litter boxes. All of which explains the frenxy about cleaning when they returned and having the poor animal's backside shaved. She was left six weeks without any brushing and a filthy litter box and probably had matted, shit stained fur welded to her rear end. Chantal is a revolting neglectful idiot.

I'm happy to hear that your baby girl is well and loved, and also to hear great things about the ASPCA. I've been donating monthly to them (just the small amount I can afford right now, but it helps) for a long time now, and always hoped they're up to their good reputation. My own cats have always been adopted from shelters, and I love knowing the adoption fee includes vaccines and microchip and spay/neuter provided before the cat is even released to its new owner. It does feel wonderful to give our pets a safe and loving home!

SansaCooks stated this isn't unusual actually. You book the end seat and the window seat, people flying together can't sit there and being in the middle is unappealing to single seaters. Then the aisle seat person keeps an eye out for any open rows if someone DOES come sit with you, and so long as no one's booked there you're free to move.
HOWEVER she has stated before that she was told she had to buy two seats and she's also obviously gained weight so uh...yeah.

My dog got end stage renal failure too (the little guy in my pfp), we went into 10k of credit card debt trying to save him and still lost him. I think the reason Chantal’s actions and words towards her cat are repulsive to us is because she’s a narcissist. She doesn’t love her pets, she’s incapable of love. She simply copies the way other people treat their pets, so that she can pretend to be a good pet owner. But she hasn’t experienced a cat in heat before and so she is very uncomfortable and awkward, and comes across as a weird, sexual deviant 🤮

I'm sure someone else has already said it, but I bet the vet told them the price and they decided it was "too expensive ". At least here in the western world veterinary care is expensive. Obviously worth it and necessary, buy coastly.

I don't necessarily believe that unless you have back up funds, you shouldn't get a pet or that you should not get a pet to combat loneliness. Many elderly get pets and don't have backup funds in case something happens. All they can give is basic care and a whole lot of attention and love. Many organizations work with these people because Chantal is a perfect example. She did have the means to take care of BBJ and even being offered help to do so, but she has a black heart.

I'm a proud cat mom and the part with Julia was...uncomfy. Granted, I take care of my cat sons (neutered, vaccinated, and yearly vetted) they are my world.
They do use what is Depo-Provera in cats, but it’s not called that.. it’s called depo medrol or just the actual pharmaceutical name. So what’s weird, is that we all know how uneducated Chantal is. I doubt the vet would say we’re giving her (insert human brand of drug) he’d probably say the vet brand and that’s what Chantal would relay to us.
My guess is the same as the person who commented she google it herself after not wanting to pay vet prices and decided to buy the human form at a pharmacy.
ETA - could also be why it’s not working how it should if it’s the human brand, even though they’re the same drug (same active ingredient) there could be other compounds that are different such as the ingredients used to deliver the drug through the blood stream.

Her and Salad picked Julia up from the street, she’s a stray . And the reason for that wasn’t because they wanted to be nice, it was because Salad didn’t want to spend money on buying a cat. Salad uses money chins makes to buy himself new clothes and spends it on going out.

Female cats, especially from the street, can indeed have infection in the spay area, that shows as fever after the spay. It requires a second surgery, overnightstay, antibiotics and longer recovery. Many don't survive. This is why a vet check and vaccines are important immediately when you get the cat. She's got some lahs going on here. Does anyone believe she's gonna make 4 more (at least) 45 MINUTE DRIVES to get all this done?
