Li Ning Blade X 800 Badminton Racket Review - its a tough one!

  • I review and compare the LiNing Blade X 800 head light badminton racket which is used by world and Olympic champion Zhang Nan of China. This super fast badminton racket is part of the new BladeX series of rackets from Li Ning although finding any information was tricky.
This BladeX 800 racket is very fast and is certainly aimed at high level doubles players who really prefer speedy and fast badminton rackets. Have you tried a Blade X badminton racket before?

In the mandarin expression, for the official descrition of the difference in 3U or 4U of the racket, it means 3U for the players which have GOOD skill of swing power, and 4U for the DECENT skill of swing power. which means if you have a better skill, you can choose a 3U racket.

thanks for doing all these reviews, very knowledgeable for us, been following and catching up of your videos since your first.
same here in Australia, no official information given and even the seller gave brief explanation, basically you find out yourself. In Australia AX90 retail @A$ 320 onwards, it is a big gamble if not much information is readily available. Even the upcoming Arcsaber 7 Pro won't even hit the A$300 mark . after Malaysian Open and Malaysian Masters some other UA-camrs from Malaysia is introducing more Li-Ning to club players locally, maybe that's is the best marketing?

    • @CKYew
      @CKYew  2 роки тому +1

Good to hear you're enjoying the videos. Li Ning certainly is about 10% more expensive than Yonex/Victor across the market and their top end rackets do look very premium in terms of aesthetics, except this one 😬😬

@@CKYew since watching all of your videos I learned a lot, I noticed a topic that is not discussed amongst us social players it is stringing/grommets design, 70,72,76 holes and some rarely seen designs, are they important enough to know ? Or just something the badminton stringing industry keep to themselves?

    • @CKYew

@@jiayanglian4363 dont be surprised, lining is always more expensive than other brand rackets in the same classes 😂 but there's one advantage lining has, its that their rackets paint jobs are flawless. They arent easily chipped and looks very premium, even the low tier classes. And about grommets, the more grommets the less string sharing the same hole, therefore makes them more durable bcs the tension is dispersed evenly. Other than that, if you're advanced enough, grommets quantity doesnt feel much difference

The ZF2 is certainly no beginner racket as its very very stiff and demanding to play with. If budget isnt a problem, i think the astrox 88s Pro and Nanoflare 800 is pretty easy to play with as well as the Victor Auraspeed 100X i reviewed recently too.

I have been using the BladeX 800 3U5G in doubles for around a year. Im more of a front court player than rear court. This racket is fast and helps me with my net battles, drives and defences very well. Only issue i have with it is that it sometimes feel abit hollow. Does anyone here share the same sentiments? If not I feel this racket would be excellent.

@@CKYew yes with m46 carbon fibre I think it's Li-Ning's fastest racket with hardest shaft. About the same hardness as nr800.

some say , bladex 900moon more user friendly.. is it true?

@@adlitorres89 it has softer shaft, just a bit softer. But not too friendly, it is still on the stiff side. I would say Moon has the same hardness shaft as Axforce 100.

    after considered, I get a bladex 500 instead of 800, 2 weeks later, lining released bladex 700 , what a joke :D
FYI: bladex 500 also very fast

Alot of the players complaint that the shaft is too stiff and difficult to generate power

I actually think the head is too light, if it was slightly heavier, it might have been better for power transfer

Not sure about its performance and handling. In terms of aesthetic and design, Bladex is thousands miles behind Axforce 80, Tectonic 9 and Aeronaut 9i. It doesn't seem like it is from the same designer.
