Great video. I have an Alinco DX10 arriving tomorrow from Nevada which seems to be the DR135 with just a new model number. I take my foundation exam in a few weeks and thought it would be a good (and inexpensive) HF intro radio alongside an Anytone AT779UV (2M/70cm) mobile I got as a fathers day present. 73s Martin
Still got mine in the box its never been used been there since last year. Hope your doing well Dave not seen any videos for a while and I no longer use facebook. Take care 73
Excellent review M0ogy really enjoyed it, you'll probably know by now these also have programmable ASQ (auto squelch) hidden away in function menu.look forward to more reviews 73,s 26CT228
Nice Radio , I Had An Alinco Handheld 2m And 70Cms Beautiful Little Set And I Regret Selling It , I've Got A Little Baofeng UV5R III Now And It Performs Reasonably Well You've Got A New Subscriber From Birmingham England GGGNR69 Personal Graham Bless Up Fella
Shame there was no CW Testing Would of liked to see how it keyed and if the delay/qsk was adjustable ? Also will it take paddles or just a straight Key?? Missed opportunity Im afraid :-(
+mptrax Most of these from mid 2014 running as v3 with software update much more stable across all bands now and very comparable with Grant 2 for features and definitely cheaper on cost by a big margin
hiya buddy i dont suppose you know of a video on programing this radio do you ? ive tried setting it up to 11m with uk frequicies but as soon as i get that on all the other blocks lock up ie A-F usb lsb am etc any ideas buddy
Well the Alinco looks allot better and much more stable than the Anitone radio with the same looking front. I might invest in one of those for testing on the strength of what I'v seen in your two videos. Nice one Dave I like what I'v seen.
Great radio. Had mine for a while on dx and 11 meters. Love the compactness and build quality. Another great video M0OGY, thanks.

anybody know how to get the 5khz step??
Keep pressing (not TURNING) the clarifier to change tuning steps....the frequency display will flash to show the tuning step selected.
It did but no 5kc steps
Press clarifier and adjust accordingly.
