- Testing out the new MNNTHBX rear shocks for the Honda Monkey z-125. These are a big upgrade to the suspension! Better than stock! Here’s my review and test ride!

So glad you reviewed these. I have a 2021 red/white Monkey and have thought about replacing the stock shocks. I agree about the nice houses in the area where you were riding. Glad you love the Monkey as much as I do. Safe travels to you!

Love your channel and discovered (and subscribed) you about a yr ago...we have the same bikes (Monkey and Street Bob). I've kept my Monkey entirely stock, but you've inspired me to buy these shocks because I use the Monkey exclusively for [mild] off-road. For the price and your narration of the ride, seems like a good buy. Thanks, as well, for mentioning the Burly Brand tank bag in the comments. I’m 6 feet, about 235 pounds. The summer before last I installed some Chimera shock preload spacers on my Monkey. They’ve worked quite well.
Looking good. I put some preload spacers on mine simply because I cant seem to find a set with blue springs to match my bike.
Congrats on the new shocks. Looked and sounded like they were a great deal.
Neat little bike. Not really my kind but I'm not going to say I'll never have one.

The takegawa exhaust is worth it. I've got it on my 2021 monkey. I need to get these shocks for mine.
I've played with a Monkey a few times...the bike. Not my..anyway, haha. Definitely slick little bikes. I may add one to the collection, in the future! Also, definitely looks like a house in a slasher movie 🤘🏻
I was just looking at videos reviewing the Monkey and it turns out were in the same town! Well I currently live in Spokane (going to college) and go home every now and then. The traffic is getting insane! looking into becoming a new rider this spring, signed up for classes next month.

Hello, and thanks for this, they have a set for $109 and an adjustable set at the bottom too for $153. Yeah, me too, I must do the shocks. Do you remember which set this is? I saw your video review of the honda monkey and wanted to see if you knew about the takegawa sport style exhaust. It keeps the stock look but gets rid of the cat. Pretty nice sound but not obnoxious.

Wife rides a Harley and is interested in a Monkey, reliable, in town fun, and wants to beat the Monkey snot out of it for fun and smiles.👍

Having owned both, the Monkey is a much better ride.

Sorry to ask but, WHICH shocks are these? Öhlins blackline are over $500 at that website... You seemed to state that these shocks were a deal less than $150. Thanks in advance.

Still very happy with it. I only have 1300 miles on it.
Are those on upside down, shouldn't the preload adjuster be on the bottom? An edit, the shocks are on upside down for sure. The adjuster should be on the bottom not the top.

Yes! I love it. Goes with me every time I ride on all my bikes. I keep all the essentials in it like registrations, bottle of water, ear plugs, Zeiss wipes, etc. very handy and it doesn’t scratch the paint.
