When someone says those three words to you, and gets mad that you don't immediately say them back, run for the hills. You don't tell someone that so that they'll say it back. And it's okay if the two of you don't both get to the I love you part at the exact same time. Someone who's going to throw a fit about that is someone who is used to getting their way and can't handle being told "no" or even just "not right now".
Charlie dodged a real bullet there.

I really hate this scene, she makes charlie the bad guy but it is the other way around, if she loves him she would understand it is too soon, and accept his feelings, instead she insults the person she "loves"

She just threw a love bomb at him and expected... what? For him to lie to her? It's too soon for that, and she *must* know that. Charlie handled himself with class in this situation.
Whereas, she turned around to insult the man she claims to "love" because they're at different stages of their... let's say relationship. So immature.

Charlie is a bachelor and has his own philosophy. When she opened up to him he could have explained his position better, especially as she opened up and wanted a future. Communication, understanding and empathy were lacking on his part. She gave him a chance and time to respond and Charlies smart enough to know see what her intentions were, he knew what he was doing and wanted that reaction
It's like what Drake says in Drake & Josh, "When a girl says I Love You, that is the time to cut and run!"
Yup. Drake and Charlie are pretty much the same character, only difference are their ages

Obviously he has strong feelings if he spent 3 days in bed with her. She wasn't necessarily looking for I love you. She just wants to know it wasn't just a booty call.
