It shows confidence and keeps the morale high and builds camaraderie with teammates. This is better than deer in the headlights look that skylar thompson shows. Not a big deal but it's something I noticed worth mentioning. I hope huntley sticks around next year
Tua not being durable is a problem, you can’t have your qb miss 25% of the year, he ain’t the main issues but he is a big contributor. Not to mention his performances against winning teams.

Denver isn't losing on Sunday. Period. They had the Chiefs beat the first time they met but blew it. Not this time. The Dolphins WILL miss the playoffs and it's all on Grier for not having a solid backup QB. But Ross will never learn.
For years I was baffled what anyone saw in Skylar Thompson. Having him start the season as backup is a fireable offense. Huntley could have been brought in and he would have been prepared in those games he was thrown into
I have to disagree. Ive been saying this all season, Tua wouldnt even be a good backup QB. It would force your team to carry a relaible 3rd string QB on the roster cause you cannot depend on Tua staying healthy. On top of that, you have to tailor the offense down to eliminate Tuas weaknesses if your starter goes down. He couldnt run a system like Baltimores if Jackson went down. I would not want him as a backup in Miami.
Dolphins need to connect with their inner Atlanta Falcons and draft a QB with second pick (after selecting an offensive lineman) and tell Tua "you just ain't available young man." Be blunt and start making players accountable just like Falcons did with Cousins. QB Draftee will be cheaper than any free agent. QB back-up selections completely perplexing. Tyreek comments that it wasn't a good idea missing practices all season reflects Dolphin's management fiduciary failure to demand accountability for both players and coaches.
I do agree...Tua is in year 5 and if a QB is drafted we can have him sit a couple of years...but it has to be a 2nd round type or a Brock Purdi type otherwise it's useless to draft a backup QB

I have been a Tua defender for his entire time in Miami. I am done with Tua not because he is fragile. Its because he continues to do things to get himself hurt. He has got to be smarter and time and again he proves he doesnt have the smarts to avoid injury
He said he learned after his first injury earlier in the year. He even said he realized h needed to be in the lineup for his teammates. I guess he forgot when he dove for the extra yard. Nice guy, but not a winning qb in the NFL. Wish he would retire.
I have to disagree with you on part of what you said. Tua has played an injury free season. He put on extra weight and played injury free, but some people still weren’t satisfied. They wanted a mobile quarterback, so he lost the weight. Tua needs to put the weight back on. What’s more important, an injury free quarterback or a mobile injured quarterback? If you agree with me, please pass the word on to the other fans. We have two good quarterbacks and don’t need to be using our picks and quarterbacks. We need offensive lineman and Tua might stay healthy.
@@chrisriggins2087I was thinking about this last night. I still don't trust him to stay healthy, but he should gain that weight back and see if it helps him stay healthy next season.

Omar & Barry, what u call "hating on" Tua is fans just being dissatisfied with his low ceiling. We see quarterbacks around the league doing great things whether with their legs or their arm or BOTH, meanwhile we're stuck with a severely limited player in the game's most important position. Being dissatisfied isn't the same as "hating". Cut the fans a break. We've been through 30 years of losing. We're allowed to ask for better performance from our quarterback.
Big Ben played with a broken foot. Philip Rivers played in a must win game with an ACL. Josh Allen had been playing with a broken hand. McDaniel handling Tua with kid gloves is the epitome of what’s wrong with this team
The Dolphins PR machine should contact the KC Chiefs and remind them what the Dolphins did a few years ago, and beat the first place NE Patriots (with Ryan Fitspatrick at quarterback) so they could capture the top seed for the playoffs that resulted in their 1st Super Bowl victory in 50 years. It's time for the KC Chiefs to do their very best to win on Sunday vs. the Denver Broncos. Payback is not demanded in friendships but in the NFL - you do onto others as they do onto you.
There is no way Chiefs back ups are beating Denver right?? Well , they still gotta play the game. I have faith. We are do for some “good luck” and the chiefs owe us!!! We beat NE for them to get home field.
Tua is the most accurate QB because he has the lowest average per throws. And don’t blame fans for wanting their ‘franchise’ player to play if he looks capable. It’s up to the team to defend their or his decision better.
It was 100% a business move to bench Tua this week. #1 We didn't want to risk putting him out there In a situation where we didn't know if we had playoff hopes. #2 - We felt confident in knowing that we stood a very good chance against a weak Cleveland team with a 3rd string qb.
The reason so many dolphins fans want the LIMITED lefty out is cause we know we are wasting our time.. he never was that dude. We get frustrated cause we were sold this since the tank season. He’s an ok nfl qb, but they make him out to be this franchise savior and he’s not, never was, and never will be. Move on and stop wasting time. Oh wait, the moronic contract
I was one of those that said if he is on the sidelines it better be in a stretcher. The issue I have is that all this stinks to hell and you even mentioned that. I guess Omar is down with a starting QB missing 5 starts per year but I find that completely unacceptable.
I've been a Miami Dolphins fan for over three decades. The media in South Florida is utterly unfair and negative about the Miami Dolphins and have been for years. So I'm hoping that we'll get a little bit of positive vibe toward the dolphins as they fight to get to the playoffs. Negativivity and criticism does nothing to fix their problems.
Hurts and Mahomes aren't constantly getting injured like Tua, Omar - just stop it man. A weak apples and oranges comparison... I agree that he's not the only problem on the team however. The oline is atrocious and the defense still can't tackle consistently
Gentlemen, if Tua’s durability isn’t a question, why do we have so much focus on a back up quarterback? No other team focuses so much on a back up as the Dolphins did this season. We know Tua will miss games every year. That’s not getting us to a Super Bowl at any time soon.
Omar I trust you, I rewatched niners game and didn’t see any hindrance to Tua’s throwing strength or even scrambling ability. So, how injured could he be?
Love the show Omar I am a huge Tua fan and have been there a long time and think he is a good QB and a better person understand it’s not turn on tua for me it’s a reality that it may not happen for him to be a star I want it in the worst way it just adding up and math don’t lie dog
When it come to big games at the end of the season, Tua either chokes on the field or he's injured on the sidelines. He simply lacks the mental and physical strength to be great, he's just too limited in every metric. His greatest asset is pre-snap reading, anticipation and accuracy throwing to spots. A defense that can throw off that timing beats him.
What's remarkable about the inability to run (especially inside) is that teams are "allowing" Miami to run inside in order to stop our vertical game and we flat out can't take what the defense is giving us (and force them to play honest D). Then, when it's 3rd or 4th and short and they *actually* play the run, we get DESTROYED.
I have to think what this season would be like if Jaelen played and didn't get injured, Chubb made it back. I think the two of them, along with Chop would have been amazing. Then, of course, if Tua slid instead of leading with his head. Oh, and if they had signed competent OL. We'd a probably been 10-6 at least. I do think that the team is a playoff caliber team, just clearly not contender caliber.
Thank you Barry! I’d much rather make the dance and at least have a chance as opposed to hoping for the team to not even make the playoffs bc we might get embarrassed
He won’t get a mention bc the team isn’t a contender, but not many teams survive to the last day of the regular season with the starting qb missing 6 games and starting 2-6. I think the Fins have a head coach. That’s put to bed I believe. They may not have a qb to build on.
The Dolphins need to make Tua a healthy QB2 on Sunday. Tua is an inadequate player who will NEVER win a playoff game - not with Miami or anyone else. Hopefully another team is dumb enough to not realize this and take him off our hands ASAP so we can move on. We've seen Tua's peak and it's not elite, sufficient, impressive, clutch, or, at this point, justifiable.
Big money Tua -- out. Big money Waddle -- out. Big money Chubb -- been out for over a year. Big money Ramsey -- doing nothing. Big money Tyreek -- dropping passes a high school receiver would catch and running his mouth on social media. This team is ridiculously overpaid to obscenely underperform.
Was Omar required to say "hating on Tua" a minimum amount of times? Are people not allowed to be critical of a player's durability or his level of play against good teams? The only hating was Omar dismissing how well Tyler Huntley played complaining about "check downs and lateral passes." Has he not watched this team since Tua returned? Most of his passes are under 10 yards down the field. He has the lowest average of in-air yards per throw in the NFL this season. Omar's "assessment" of Huntley and saying he would rather have Josh Dobbs is real hating. Josh Dobbs?
Taking your thoughts Omar don’t you think the Dolphins should draft another quarterback? You content creators are protective of Tua I know but objectively what do you think?
Hope tua ends the season on the bench. Give him his injury guarantee and cut him. Tired of him not being on the field when he's needed most. Or folding if he is on the field
Here’s the thing. The Chiefs have the opportunity to use their backups, to knock one of their division rivals out of playoff contention entirely. A team in which they narrowly beat the first time around. They don’t want to risk playing against that team for a 3rd time, if they can avoid having to do so, within reason. What better way to end the season, than to knock a division rival out of the playoffs? Potentially even doing an old friend a favor, in Tyreek Hill, by allowing his team to take that spot, should they continue to earn their way into that position.
5 years and Tua has played more than 13 games once (and it was the one year he put on a bunch of weight). 80% of the time he misses 25% of the games or more. Other starting qbs are not doing that.
@ It’s not just about the games missed. Tua’s injury history impacts how he’s able to play. Other QBs who’ve missed games don’t carry the same long-term concerns or limitations, which adds another layer of challenge for both him and the team. When was the last time we saw a QB sneak? His hip is now an issue, and he wasn’t a very mobile QB to begin with. We haven’t beaten the good teams in games that matter ever with Tua.
Tua is not elite he’s good when the system works but teams watch film that why every pass is middle of the field he doesn’t have a strong arm he beats up on trash teams until it’s a good defense on the other end 15-20 screens/passes behind line of scrimmage a game at least bring another QB create competition that’s how you make dawgs when players can’t get comfortable dolphins paid him 200 million to be comfortable and protect his feelings organization soft create soft leadership
I told you Dolphins 🐬 finishing 9-8 and very likely earn a wildcard playoff birth. Dolphins 🐬 as a power running team with a true dual threat QB are unbeatable. Winning time of possession battle and keeping our defense fresh. Playing complimentary football is our DNA as an organization. Tua's injury is very serious he may have to medically retire like Bo Jackson. This is a similar case. Dolphins 🐬 going to get a medical settlement for Tua's contract. Thus Dolphins 🐬 going to draft a QB this year to replace Tua.
He didn't lose my support because of the visuals. I just finally realized he will never be reliable. Just like Armstead who gets ruled out mid-game and you don't bat an eye. They gambled on his health when they picked him over Herbert and they failed.
I’m glad the last game of the season is meaningful. I prefer to go to Buffalo and get destroyed than not be in the playoff. Otherwise, it is a bad roster and needs to be fixed. But that doesn’t stop me from hoping they win every game they have.
This time of year fans always WANT HIM OUT. Mainly because he sucks when it matters most every single time. Then they get suckered back in by early season wins against bad teams. 5 years of this

Wow. Huntley was allowed to throw a pass or two. Guess they figured its late in the season to make Tua look mediocre.
I agree Omar every QB is fragile ours is just more fragile then every other QB
It’s all on the hip
Tua is not elite he’s good when the system works but teams watch film that why every pass is middle of the field he doesn’t have a strong arm he beats up on trash teams until it’s a good defense on the other end 15-20 screens/passes behind line of scrimmage a game at least bring another QB create competition that’s how you make dawgs when players can’t get comfortable dolphins paid him 200 million to be comfortable and protect his feelings organization soft create soft leadership
If they make the playoffs thay will get a beaten in Buffalo thanks guys great show ❤
Maybe we get good karma from McDaniel not kicking the field goal for the scoring record against the beoncos
crosby doesn’t block. no greer can’t build an o line.
Did you just compare mahomes having an ankle sprain to tua missing games? 😂
I think tua and armstead need to be on sea moss supplements
Question for you Omar and Barry
Dolphins season MVP
I am torn between Seiler and Campbell
Is Barry Wilson Jr agent? lol
I’m glad the last game of the season is meaningful. I prefer to go to Buffalo and get destroyed than not be in the playoff.
Otherwise, it is a bad roster and needs to be fixed. But that doesn’t stop me from hoping they win every game they have.
Whoop der da hip
Tua is as good ONLY because of those hard-core players who don't get hurt. He can toss without thinking and can't throw worth his salary.
This time of year fans always WANT HIM OUT. Mainly because he sucks when it matters most every single time. Then they get suckered back in by early season wins against bad teams. 5 years of this
