Edit: quick question tho, once you design these graphics do you just send these pictures to your manufacturers? How would they know how to make ur design by just sending them a picture of your mock ups
Design the graphics or mock-ups? I have a mock-up pack in description that was used to make exactly these! In terms of graphics, I get that question a lot but there’s no clear answer, everyone makes graphics in so many different ways. I just thought of some ideas and manually made them in illustrator.
and yes you submit the mock up with measurements, as well as a separate PDF/JPEG/PNG of the graphic itself. And you want to give as much clear instruction and details as possible too
How do I access the mock ups in photoshop? I open the file but I can’t move them separate or click on any piece. It only moves the whole thing

Y’all do not purchase these $40 bootleg mock-up packs. Nothing special about them. Literally save your money.

That’s not what bootleg means. Claiming nothing special yet I if you watched entire video you’d see the anchor point editing is what makes this truly superior to other “static” mocks, in regard to seeing what your collection will more or less look like when designing. These mock-ups aren’t meant to be posted to Instagram nor website pics. It’s for fast self-designing and clear manufacturer file submission. You’re free to image trace and replicate if that works for you, but I already did all the work for you (;

Are the mock ups scaled? i.e. If i'm trying to see how a 4" x 4" logo looks on an item, how do I make sure everything is scaled correctly?

i have not finished the video yet but how exactly feels like same silhouette just ur own graphics or design like for example look at the shorts what if u wanted no back pockets or what if u wanted the hood to fit differently on the hoodie or if u wanted it slightly cropped surly packs like this take away from you getting the silhouette you want by giving u something generic will be the same hoodies just different designs

Can someone please help, once i drag the vector mockup package into illustrator, the front and back of jumper for example wont ungroup. Doesn't show up on right click and is unavailable. It allows me to group but they are already grouped?

You're actually just stating obvious stuff and you're extremely slow for having used the software for years.. I mean it honestly looks like this was your first time and just wanting to show us something you discovered for the first time. You should like a total rookie doing this. And the designs are really trying way too hard to be "unique" which makes them end up boring. (Side note: Different doesn't mean better or cooler)

with measurements/placement of graphics on garments, how do you differentiate the measurement differences between small, medium, large, xl, etc? Lets say I wan't 5 in down from collar on a shirt. Does that 5 in measurement translate across all shirt sizes?
You tell manufacturer your sample size and they’ll size grade up and down for you

hey man! at 14:40 would it not be easier to just hit cntrl on the actual hoodie to get the outline, then inverse the selection and remove the part of the graphic using a mask? great vid mate

You’re not using it properly, you said you couldn’t ungroup? You’re either not using .ai file, or you haven’t unzipped zip file

I bought the mock up pack and I pasted it on AI but the pack has a blue box with a X across the box and when I try to click on a shit it always seems to grab the whole pack with the blue box with the X together
