You said it goes from 5700 kelvin to 6400 kelvin that’s hot Enough to melt tungsten and steel in Literal seconds, I’m sure you mean Candela? I don’t know what that (k) stands for but it’s not kelvin otherwise that Aluminum Olight would be a hot puddle melting a hole through your hand literally.
@@15Hours_ago that K does mean kelvin. It's the color temperature of the light. It's a cool white.
@@DrowningInAnguish thanks for your reply! I am doing some research online because I’m confused obviously you are correct the color temperature is 5700to 6400 Kelvin.
I’m having a hard time figuring out the difference between Celsius and kelvin to kelvin relating color temperature?
Is it that radiation causes things to (melt) ? and can something be 10,000° Kelvin but not have enough radiation to melt something?? Can you help explain ? Is this true?
Example tungsten has one of the most highest melting point of over 3000° Kelvin…..But color temperature of light can for exceed this in common household lightbulbs. Why it not do the melt?
As an electrician this green laser is awesome for pointing out to apprentices or coworkers where to run pipe or hang equipment. Also because it's magnetic it can be used as a nice little worklight. The green laser can also be used as a standout assuming your surface is level. Very usefull little light.
As an elevator tech I’ve been loving it hope I don’t drop it down the shaft lil
I've been looking for a green laser for pointing out areas of interest during a substantial completion meeting and or a punch list walk- thru meetings.

I'm a building inspector for the county I live in. This would be great for pointing out things on inspections.
As an electrician I can imagine the laser pointer being extremely useful for pointing to out of reach things to help communicate better
I just picked one up. A laser pointer will just really help me be able to point out distant objects precisely without the person having to come over to my point of view to see what im looking at

Well as concrete mixer driver, I use the green laser, for bring trucks on and off jobsites, marking washout locations... Keeps me from jumping fresh off someone's ahss, on a midnight pour...

I would use that to point things out to my journey men and apprentices. Normally I use my measuring laser but that would be handy
Heck, I am always trying to point out stuff. I got the pro with the green pointer and the black light. I already used it to point out a leak on a car. You can point it at roof rafters, missing shingles, or a spot on a tall ceiling or whatever for where you want water pipes or electrical to go. You can also stand in 1 spot and point out which trees you want cut out or maybe a branch cut. My mom is always trying to point her finger to a branch to cut and 1 time I cut the wrong branch. I can hand this to my mom and she can just point out the branch. She might want one or I might come home and not find my light. She might steal it to tell my dad everything she wants done. 😅
Holy! Auditing large pallets or staged product is a breeze with a laser and flashlight. Using the Odin GLM currently.. this would help me shed some weight. I want one!!

For EDC use I prefer Olight's O'Pen Pro. Much smaller package that includes a pen, close distance floody LED, and the same laser as the Arkfeld
Would have loved USB C charging. Especially for such a little thing that you don't charge every day its nice to be able to use a phone charger, instead of carrying a special cable around.

That laser would be helpful for pointing out spots deep in a car when I’m trying to explain something to my coworkers. So they know exactly what I’m talking about. Because they can see the part pointed by the laser.

Does the beam throw or is it pretty open wash? I have a fenix gun light and I like it because it throws the beam out evenly and that’s like 1600 lumens.. just a slightly bigger light than I want to carry

The laser is useful for indicating areas of interest. Especially in a distribution center.

It seems kind of crappy, but when you have been up that ladder 1000 times, and you have 1000000 other issues, and endless ladders to climb.
A pointer is concise communication.

I was once running from the police and they got their attack dogs on me because I ran too fast. I had a laser on me and the attack dogs attacked the laser pointer instead. I pointed the laser at the cops and the dogs attacked the cops cause they were trying to get the laser. I then borrowed their police car from them. Started dating their sisters cause they heard I was the real bad ass. All because of my laser pointer.

I think I would use it for a doorstop. 6700k? Are you kidding me? It’s going to turn every color coded wire blue- when are they going to realize that cri is far more important to a technician than gimmicks or brightness? I would much rather have a 93 CRI flashlight when trying to find pair 132 in a 900 pair 26ga cable than this thing.
I’m struggling to figure out what I’d use this for other than just a flashlight 😅. It’s nice and bright and solid built but…. And not sure why I need a laser at all

I really wanted to like Olight. I've had nothing but trouble with their products though. Unfortunate.
That is unfortunate! Have you tried checking with their warranty department? I haven’t had any have issues personally yet but I’m curious how they handle it when you do.
@@MillisConstruction No I didn't, I cut my losses with them and switched to Prometheus. They are much more expensive but hand pick their led's and answer their emails. I love that company.
