Can anyone tell me why all of the cars when coming towards the camera have an annoying squeak and after the car passes the squeak stops. What is making the annoying sound?

The clip I saw twice was at 7:22 (watch for the old man on his cell phone towards the end of the clip on the left side - I looked again today, but didn't see it the second time again - but that is the shot I saw twice...)

Quick question about these cars, I know they use those wheel mounted gear switches but is the transmission semi-automatic or do they have a clutch pedal as well?

yes but how does it disengage drive from engine to gearbox like at the starts or when they need to reverse??
Electronics is the answer! :) Too much electronics in the car, and pressing some buttons and holding the handbrake seems to engage the clutch. :)

They use big studs.

Yes, these studs are made from Metallic. Finnskogsvalsen (as you can see on my channel), they used studs which was probably a cm long, I guess WRC-tires have even bigger studs.
