YOu just confirmed what I've been doing. If I'm having a busy day and find I'm running out of energy I will set my timer for 20 minutes and take a quiet break. This us usually around mid-day or early afternoon. I will lie across my bed and tell myself it's okay because it is only for 20 minutes. I always arise from that refreshed. Sometimes I feel refreshed enough to start again only to discover it has only been 10 minutes. This is an important tool in my daily toolbox. And your beautiful music always helps me in whatever I am doing. Thank you for your music Michael.

(Love the library in the background!) 🙏 I think my interest in collecting an assortment of old books has been resurrected. Charity stores sell books from $1 in my area so I’m fortunate. I can give them a new home, and I have just started cutting up cloth from old clothes to make book covers for some of my most favourite books, and to embroider a symbolic token, like a sunflower or rose on the cover. Hello Michael! and thanks for the new session. Normally I don't write any comments or reviews, but this time it felt different... Power naps, well...I've just tried one yesterday :) My wife and our little boy were out playing when I came home from work, so I thougt this would be a good opportunity to take a power nap. So I turned on my Jbl speaker, went on UA-cam and ... there it was, your brand new session on the homepage. Opened a book, lay on the bed (or laid on the bed, very confusing) and slowly fell asleep. Power naps are for me a very very good way to really get refreshed and energized for the rest of the day. I read about power naps about 2 years ago and from then on I try to take advantage from every opportunity that occurs ... Sometimes I take a power nap in my lunch break at work. But most of the times I take a power nap in the afternoon, at home, after work. Everytime I put on some of your music or a bedtime meditation to help me focus on breathing and on my body. Without these I don't fall asleep so easly because my mind begins to go crazy. And everytime I would use the timer on my watch and set it for 15 or max. 20 minutes. It seems that more than 20 min. can disturb your night sleep. On Sunday mornings I go on longer runs (15, 20, 25 km). The power nap I take in the afternoon plays an important role on my recovery. And speaking of longer runs...may I ask you, what is the name of the race / of the trail marathon you want to enter in? Maybe would be something for me too :) this Sunday I'm running at the Allgäu Panorama Marathon. Hi Adrian! Thank you for sharing your positive experience with power naps. Great to hear they work for you too :) I plan to participate in the Heidelberg Trail Marathon late September. It has an elevation gain of 1800m (6000ft) and will be my first trail marathon. The first 5k there are kind of steep for what I’m used to, so I have a big respect for that run. Make sure to say hello when you start there too! I plan to start from the second or third row, if I get the chance to position myself there after warm up. Didn’t do a race in twenty years!

Hi Michael, so glad to find your new PN video. I'm in my 70's and find that I need that PN after lunch around 1 PM. This was great to listen to on my sun porch while resting in my recliner during my PN. I also find your music helpful when doing my computer work. It tends to slow down my thought process and I don't get as stressed when working on spreadsheets and budgets. The colors in this video really caught my attention too. I have commented on this channel before (and you responded). I found your channel when I was working on my master’s dissertation about 8 years ago. I then decided to go for a phd and your music kept me going plenty of times when I was about to give up - that was during COVID. Now my baby boy is about 11 months old, and he loves listening to this piece during his naps. Without it, his naps are really short, but it almost always improves when we have this piece playing in the room. Much love and respect from Hong Kong to you and what you do. ❤
