@VengfulX Well, this wasn't a show. Just take a look at the "related video" with pretty much the same name, Rise Against - Sliver (Nirvana cover). It's the same audio, just with video of them playing it live at the AV club.
@scion6221 a lot of punk bands have covered nirvana. Even ones that were around before them. Rise against is more of a mainstream rock/pop band with a little punk influence.
@sometimesmileysophie: My first was "The Strength to Go On" followed by "Swing Life Away"....I win. XD but "Savior" is still good, though the only part I really like is the lead guitar.

Sadly the only good thing about this song is the bass....I say don't cover the legends unless you know you can do it, and do it at least justice to the original. I love Rise Against, really I do, but they should really stick to original songs, which, as every RA fan knows, is what they're best at.

I love Nirvana. I love Rise Against. Yes. Not good quality recording, but I doubt they ever meant to seriously release this.

Love nirvana--about damn time someone in the punk scene gave credit---i liked Ra and then didnt but after hearing this--no one has done a better cover
@werantongames well the lead singer of Nirvana died, so it's pretty much not possible for that to happen considering when Rise Against covered this.
