This scene has stuck with me since I was a child. I only saw it once... as was often the case in the 90s. Sometimes I miss those times for that very reason. “If you had been here on time, you would have heard them,” is a quote from the teacher at the beginning of this clip that really encapsulates what watching the television in the 90s was like. You either catch it when it airs or get lucky on a re-run! Anyway as a child I didn’t realize this was supposed to represent a dream! I had yet to have a “everything is going wrong” school dream I think. Or I wasn’t paying close enough attention to realize this was what was happening here. I really thought at the time that uncle Jesse was wild enough to come in with a phone burrito! As I watch as an adult I picked up on it almost right away - The change in the test, the no. 4 pencils, the broken vintage calculator, the POTATO for the teacher etc. So funny. Such a great scene. Very well done by the writers, and actors. This is a great representation of what school dreams can be like. Thanks for uploading. At first I was a little bummed I only found a recording of a recording but as I watch the entire clip, and hearing your (I assume) daughter come in and recognize it as a dream at probably a similar age that I first watched this episode and her recognizing it, and her dad so respectfully telling her that he’ll tell her later when she asked “what daddy?” after she didn’t hear what he said... I just couldn’t be happier that I found this clip 8 years after it uploaded it. Thank you. Really brings me back. Your family seems really nice. I hope all is well with you and yours.
Why does it sound like Jesse and Joey were in the bag at 4:45? (The way they go "HINTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!" in a voice that suddenly sounds like Prickle from "Gumby.")
That teacher who's also the neighbor reminds me of Ms. Chicarelli from Kick Buttowski, Ms. Briggs from iCarly, and Miss Jeanette Gibson from That'll Teach 'Em
this episode was probably the best ever!!!!! hilarious!!!!!!
