- If you have inflatable life jackets aboard your boat, they need at least annual maintenance. While each manufacturer is a little different when it comes to recommended checks, there are a few things you need to do to service or maintain every inflatable life jacket to ensure it's working properly if you ever need it. Well done video but you left out the part of re-packing the pfd. That's the part that I struggle with and never do it the same way twice. Would have been nice to see how you get all the air out and fold it into its container.

We've got you, Joe! You must have missed the link we posted on the video itself and in the description: ua-cam.com/video/iSSX6yOe7cw/v-deo.htmlsi=3Mc4oFDFUd-RHDmX Each life jacket is different, but there are usually pretty good instructions on the bladder itself. That said, our new favorite inflatable is the Mustang MIT range, which doesn't require any origami. Just deflate and flip the "wing" closed. Hope this helps.
