I'll also add for any new players or people thinking about picking up the game who're watching this video. Don't get discouraged if it takes you a while to make any decent amount of progress. I'm not the best at this game tbh, and it took me many tries before I even reached the end once (you have to do so multiple times to beat the game). So unless you're particularly good at roguelike games, you'll probably end up in the same boat.

Thx Muk I played Hades the last 2 days because of a friend and YT and i love your guidestyle. Most of the stuff isnt even unlocked for me but now i know that i have to check everythink. I love Hades and it is my first rouge-like!

So, in my opinionttt with this game, and any roguelike game that keeps newer players and the general player base away from success is knowledge and retention. Listen to Muluk, and take this guide to heart. At this stage, many of you will not be able to filter and adjust his advice. Many people have a weapon or build in mind when beating this game at first, so listen to him, and use the weapon you like. Once you can finish a run of the game, start to filter and try different things. Take your time, and digest all the info you can, and good luck!

What other tips and tricks do you guys have? I'm fond of looking for powers from Athena because many of them reflect projectiles instead of destroy them.
If I use the + heat to put the blue shields on enemy that block the first two hits I love using dionysis, his hangover ticks will eat all the shields off after one attack.

Looks like they took the basic format of a this type of game and thought "How can we make this REALLY unnecessarily complicated?"
Ehh I think they did a great job, and I think the awards this game got help show that. I myself have never played rogue-likes much before this one (dead cells a little) and yet this one was able to hook me in.
It really isn't. It may take some time to getting used to some information, like remembering the icon of every god before entering a room, but what game doesn't? It does an excellent job at easing you in for every mechanic it has. Also, in my honest opinion, it doesn't even have that many. The combat, while stylish and with incredible personalization potential, is based on just 3 attacks and dodging.
