Nice update/tour, they’re all looking good. I wouldn’t worry too much about your Pachypodium losing its leaves and not growing them back yet. Mine lost the majority of its leaves over winter and after its first couple of waterings it started growing new ones and now its just exploded into life. Great video as always, thanks for sharing 👍🌵☀️

I can't wait to put them all in the greenhouse (hopefully in the next week or two.) Also this year for winter I will be heating the greenhouse as I have too many now to keep bringing in the house 😊 Hope you manage to find the string of hearts to add to your collection, they are beautiful 🌵🌵😊
You have a fantastic collection, and the variegated collection is outstanding, especially the variegated ferocactus. The cactus that looks dead is such a beauty too. Like yours, the tiny pachypodium in my collection kept his leaves, however, the large guy dropped all his leaves, but pushed larger leaves once spring hit town. I love your collection. Is so well take cared. They look so happy and healthy. The Haworthia that you thought it was an Aloe is stunning. Yes it will grow leaves again. Mine droped all the leaves but now it has new. We have the same weather here. Will the greenhouse fit them all? You have a lot now.

That's a big collection, thanks for sharing! I noticed your variegated Thanksgiving cactus is in a super gritty mix. I've found the tropical cacti like much more moisture retention to avoid flopping. I use pumice/ perlite mix with John Innes 2 30/70 ish
Maybe just topdress?
I use 50/50 perlite and John innes 2 for most of my cacti and succulents. I have though just bought horticultural grit which I'm now staring to add when repotting (also using it for top dressing) Iam thinking of trying out cat litter in my mix at some point to see how I get on with it. I noticed in one of your past videos you used tesco cat litter, do you find it's any good? Thank you for watching and for your helpful info 🌵🌵😊
@@crazycactuscollector2462 I think 50/50 perlite,grit, cat litter etc is a really great mix so keep that up. I do find the cat litter useful especially for the hissing it makes when completely dry and wetted. It helps to get your watering perfect (ish). If you water and don't hear a hiss lower in pot then you know it's still moist and can stop
I have that same plant mine is about 1 and a half foot tall anyway I live in an apartment and have a balcony in summer its out there and has tons of leaves when I bring it in they all fall off then repeat. 🌵💜🌵

Could you not heat the greenhouse at night?
You said cacti in your bedroom were getting first water. Do you mean you do not water them during winter although as I beleive is kind of warm in the house? Just curious😁
Hi, I really can't wait to put them all in the greenhouse lol. I'm going to bubble wrap the inside of the greenhouse this winter and get a small heater in there as there are just too many now to keep bringing in for winter. Most of the ones in the house didn't get a watering over winter (I think only 1 or 2 did as they really needed some) Thank you for watching 🌵🌵😊
How do you prevent mealy bugs?
Hi, I just check all my plants regularly and if I see signs of mealy bugs then I treat. Luckily by checking regularly I've never had a bad case of bugs. It is not always possible to check every plant regularly if you have a very large collection though. But luckily at the moment my collection is a good size to still be able to check 🌵🌵The only other way to help prevent them is when I buy new plants I keep them away from the rest of my collection for a while to ensure no bugs 🌵
Your collection has come along beautifully!!!! Everyone is so healthy - do you overwinter them on your window sills and then take them out into the green house in the summer? I think the one at 13:53 is my favorite :) Who is this little guy?
Hi, I do overwinter them in the house but I think it may be a little too warm for some. This winter though I will be heating the greenhouse and keeping most in there as there are just too many now to keep in the house 😊 Also I think it will help some flower better being in the greenhouse for winter 🌵🌵😊Thank you for watching
