Great video! I made a new template for the classic size based on your instruction. An updated print option is I did the print preview, then hid the background and it printed without having to delete anything.
You are so welcome! Also, my printer started printing my images with black boxes but I realized that if I download it as a PDF and open in Adobe, it will print without the black boxes. Have fun!
i have been printing on my pages for over a year and one thing that has saved me so many times is putting a little label note on your paper tray reminding you to delete the background image! and i had no idea about this google slide program!!!! i'm definitely going to check it out!!!
After leaving this comment I noticed that you are a small new channel and I wanted to tell you, I love your idea and thank you for putting it out! How would I scan in my planner page into Google Templates so I can print on it.... as I am not a teacher nor using a teacher planner? oh, mine is the BIG but normal planner with 3 sections per day (7 days a week).
Tru Neilson if your printer has a scanner you can scan that way or your IPhone Notes app is a scanner as well. Then save as an image to create your template.

I do not see view master as an option under view
This is awesome. When I try to use your template, I do not see the Master in the View menu. Is there another way to delete the background?
