Hi Chad, I like to catch Bluefish. They usually put up a good fight. I don't like to eat Blues. I like Flounder the best. Your Bluefish recipe does look good. I use barbless circle hooks when I use bait. All my lure hooks are barbless too. It makes unhooking a lot easier. Good luck and have fun, Mickey
Flounder are definitely one of my favorites. The season for flounder is closed right now in Florida but as soon as it opens I’m gonna get out to the port and target some with mud minnows. I should take my barbs off but I’ve lost alot of fish in the shore pound that little bit of slack sometimes with a crashing wave lets that hook slip right out. you should definitely get out to the beach right now it’s a blast catching those blues and the Mack’s are here to. thanks again Mickey for watching and replying your awesome.

I had a blast I love being out there when it’s not 115 degrees. The winter time is my favorite time to surf fish. I still gotta get that kayak done. Maybe this week.

Love the video man. Great day of fishing. Where exactly was this? I was near Dunes this weekend and also caught a few blues. Just a hint: soaking it in milk and lemon juice for 2 hrs takes away all of the fishy flavor. Mine tasted like chicken with the fish fry.
This was about 3 miles north of Sebastian inlet just pulling off the road. We definitely have some big blue fish here this year. I never soaked a blue to get rid of the fishy flavor I don’t mind the way they taste. Some people can’t stand the flavor of a really red meat but I love it. I may have to try it just to compare the difference. Thanks for watching and commenting I really appreciate it.
