I'm so glad I grew up a 70-80's baby on cassette tape 2in tape dat , grew up in queens Hollis park. Went to high school with Irvin gotti. Rockwilder Fredro Starr Cutting my hair when he was a barber on Jamaica ave . I lived this shit this era all the tricks of sampling the art of deejaying. Carrying crates of records. The youth today. Don't know it because they don't want us sampling our history. So we forget our history of black music. Soul. There is no soul now.

Erick sermon has always been one of my favorite producers and mc of all time he is definitely one of the hip hop gods if there was a hip hop hall of fame he most definitely should be put in it as a solo artist and as a rap group epmd. much love to e double

One of the dopest interviews I've heard in a VERY LONG TIME. Big up to E Double, so much science and history was dropped in this interview. I salute Jovonn and DJ First Choice for bringing him on and asking him the right questions which could not have happened with a scripted format. I am so fortunate to hear EPMD on the radio when "It's my thing" and "You gots to chill" came out in 85', crazy!

I have said the same thing about Easy Mo Bee. He produced some straight bangers on "Ready to Die" I didn't hear much from him after that.

Because He checked Puffy on why Craig Mack's Flavor In Your Ear remix didn't have his credits on the album. He said that was the turning point in they're relationship.

I need shipping containers for Detroit...people want to see the tiny home Community. The demand is coming in fast then we can build so we need to hire local Detroit builders, could be job training...and mentorship programs. Which will speed up the process of selling. Thank You. Technically Hip Hop does have sub-genres some notable ones are East-coast Hip Hop, Jazz Rap, Hip Hop (pure), Gangsta Rap.

Yeah, but what he's saying is that radio plays all Hip-Hop music together. You don't have an East Coast Hip-Hop FM.
