I think it works great on the insides. When you are talking the outside, with maybe some mineral stains, the eraser does not work - steel wool is your friend on the outside....but only quad ought = 0000 grade
Thanks so much. I've been having such a hard time keeping my wind shield inside and out steak free . I'm o.c.d so I'm definitely gonna try this . THANKS AGAIN 😮
Pro tip.. I always wear rubber gloves when cleaning my windshield. It prevents the oils and dirt in your hands from coming into contact with the glass.
Ugg the inside of my wind shield has been driving me nuts. My dad and grandmother used to use news paper but I’m going to try your method and see it it works.
Depending on the vehicle, it may be easier to stand outside the vehicle, and reach in with your right hand (for drivers side) or left hand (for passenger's side) - helps me keep my bum shoulder from twisting and later barking at me.
Any suggestions on disposable cloths to dry with? I ask because I have seen directions to NOT wash cloths with detergent. They say there can be detergent residue left in the cloths which will smear your windows the next time you clean.
I heard rubbing alcohol works a treat to break down the oils that have built up from products used on the dash. If not, maybe I will drink the alcohol in desperation, and call a cab.
A product called Rubbing Alcohol (wollies, coles bunnings) mixed with white vinegar does the trick 30% Alcohol to 70% vinegar wash down then rinse off with water and use a chamois

You will be amazed 👍🙂
One other tip; wear gloves especially in the summer. Sweat from your hands can get on the glass and that makes things worse.
Does shaving cream work as well.
Maybe, but it makes more of a mess to clean up. It's easier just to use the magic eraser .

Good tips 🎉👏🍻🍻

Can you do this on tinted windows too
No
Factory tinted yes as the tint is built into the glass but if it's aftermarket tint film it's not safe to do it

use a free & clear detergent for microfiber towels

Learn the Cobra method for holding the towel and go up down side to side. Miyagi style.
Thabks for the video
You are welcome
@@CleanWithConfidence thanks
I use the miracle cleaner "water "
You sound like wonderboy Thompson
Couldn't you use a 0000 steel wool , like you did outside windsheild ?
You could but it’s a pain cleaning all the tiny fibers off the dash👍🙂
Plus there isn’t any water spots on the inside. The steel wool is to remove water spots.
@@alainbrisebois8334 the steel wool is for water spots though. There are no water spots on the inside.
What about tinted glass?
