I’ve seen breakdowns of Joe Louis the boxer, and he often catches the opponents jab with his right hand while using his left hand to jab at the same time, similar to what you said about the uke motion with the right hand open. great video thanks sensei

The problem is that it's not a two handed punch, it's actually a take-down.
