Oh my God so funny! "...a few more weeks!" The perfect black humor ending actually salvaged the episode; the Deus Ex Machina pickpocket plot twist was alittle iffy. Another great...SUSPENSE.
It turns out that the Cresta Blanca Winery is rather famous. There is a lot of information on it, unlike with Roma Wines. I like another one of these comic episodes.
He got the chair for having a grenade? Had it gone off, a LOT of people on that subway car would've died, and the receipt would have been vaporized. I'm missing something here, though I never was much of a detective. Anybody?.....
The explosives wasn't that powerful enough to vaporize that wrapped receipt, completely that is. May have been torn into half, enough to see the name of the person on the deed
Wow great episode good twist at the end aysome!!! Acting superb!!!
Awesome episode.
Good story. Always nice to hear Cathy Lewis.
And Lureen Tuttle. 2 of radio's best!
TIL this was based on a real case in 1946, though it was a sawed-off shotgun instead of a bomb. You can google "Pearl Lusk" to read about it.

Was a good story til the end. A bit of a deus ex machina ending IMHO.
