I think they should rework their business model a bit. I think they’d be more successful if focus on working with companies like triple A, car manufacturers, and towing companies. Most consumers aren’t going to order a portable charger, especially since you’re deploying them in cities, which have a larger charging network. You could market it in a way to reduce range anxiety which is one of the main reasons people don’t wanna by EVs. I mean we’ll see how it goes but I think it’s smarter to focus on utility rather than convenience.
Triple A already has this service.
@@DonGrigorianFishing just that they don't actually own the business itself, they outsource it just like their towing services.
I wish they would expand their services to more cities at some point

This guys a slick talker! Pay attention to the words he says.. Our chargers are faster than “Tesla Destination” charges…which are basic low speed Level 2 chargers at hotels LOL He’s not talking about Tesla Superchargers because that would be 100% BS

Why those bulky chargers? Can you just build a vertical charger that fits as narrowly and closely as possible behind the parked car while charging? Even better if that vertical charger can convert into a horizontal platform that can get below the car, and even possibly charge the car wirelessly. These would be perfect for charging EVs at work, specially since most of employers don't own parking lots, or will not spend a dime installing chargers where their employees park, and; also it will be the nail in the coffin of gas cars as a solution for people living in condos/multifamily buildings!
Wirelessly? What are you smoking? LOL
@@DonGrigorianFishingwireless charging is available
No freaking way. Too high of a cost. DOA
⚡👀 icu for EV.
This is kinda dumb. I’m just gonna pay someone to drop a gas tank at my work 😂 or house for 50 miles. Man that is when the Empty light starts going off
Make sure you charge your car. How will this company make money to make a profit? Will I be dumb enough to leave my car without a charge? No no no. I will have to pay Sparkcharge a premium. Which is a membership. Moral of the story charge your car. Buy a piece a land and convert it to a Car charging point.
Soon many many more people will be on EV’s. So yes there will be many silly people that would need a service like this
I thought the best way was to do battery swap at gas stations and everywhere.
That solution is the perfect one, but since EV car companies -I won't mention their names TESLA, I won't- are reluctant to lease the car batteries instead of selling them, it is very complicated to make sure you have your own battery back!
Battery swaps are not a emergency situation solution..that takes hours. You want a portable level 3 DC fast charging service that comes to you
This is a dumb idea.. 💔💔💔
Dumb idea has made his company 110 million yeah that’s real dumb
This Guy is a genius!
Not really. Not cost effective
Where r u located
*Absolutely*
