This is part 1 of making my own color for a watercolor painting! Painters used to make their own colors in the past. They couldn´t go to an art store and buy pre-made colors. I can explain a bit more in the next video if you want to! I have to wait for whole week until the "mud" in the end dries :D Can´t wait to show you part 2! 🎨

Valerie you have no idea how much these free videos mean to me. They are like therapy, for years I’ve repressed my wants/ needs/ interests because I felt different. I’m so sorry you struggled in school, I did too. The education system does not reward many kindly especially those of us who can create our own paths. I often wonder do you look at your life now and think man if my younger self could see this now? I feel still we all have that broken child within us and I think back to times that were so hard and even dangerous and I wish I could have been there for myself.

I've been telling myself i need to be free, start crafting, art is my passion, i want to create. But all while struggling to keep employment and a roof over my head, telling myself i can only have one or the other.. Work and home or homeless and free. I just can't focus hard enough to do it all for myself.
As an artist i know what art for me really is , i experience different worlds when i am writing something. Same for paintings,its like to convey something special that is present in your mind without using a word an artist always demands your attention and wants you to feel what he/she is feeling something that cannot be explained only with words ,pen ,brush ,but with a certain feeling .Velerie your every painting evoke a special feeling, for me it just inspires me to write something that is capable of evoking certain feeling and i just admire your talent

At 43 going on 44 I am dealing with that very thing. Not knowing who I am and what my purpose is in this life. My anxiety at times is through the roof but I don't know what I want or what to do. My wheels are turning but the car is not moving. It's a struggle to be just me and live life to the fullest because I feel so limited. My art work helps me expand my creative mind and explore things with my own perspective and that right now is my only escape from the world.

I don't know what it is but your videos give me inner peace. Even during my dull days when I have to sit at the computer and do my "boring" job I feel like it's a great day and that it all has a purpose. It gives me faith and hope that I can start with small steps and appreciate my life the way it is now and I will grow. I've been feeling stuck in limbo for a big part of my late teens and twenties. Your videos are a reminder to stay curious and I feel I'm getting re-connected with my inner self.

U cll it dreams/ or things to achieve something.ex.lov, car, lavish life,etc.What about my thought,the thought you think is dark & negative,what's wrong if I loveing it , my dark thought are positive for me.

It took me a while to understand that failure is okay, my whole life education has been a way to prove my self worth. Whenever I did bad on a test that would put me in a situation where I hated myself. With deep deception. However I started learning that never is too late to start again. If i fail a class i can take it again when I feel more prepared. Effort is important but not so much if it consumes you. Now, when something bad happens in my life I take it as a lesson that I shouldnt repeat, living like its my last day. Thinking that way really changes your life and more if you are a student.

Valerie, this video reminded me of how time and decisions can be not straightforward as we all thought. I believe in many things, especially valuable our time because it can be taken like 👌. Taking in what we love and care is very important than ever to bring new experiences, knowledge and hope. Even we need to fail to be who we are. Like this, I chose to be as graphic designer and UA-camr which is not my plan cause my original is just an illustrator. Time changes so fast than I forget to blink and this reminded me and you is worth living for. With support and love

This video had me grinning. I have a lot of admiration for the natural sciences, chemistry in particular. There's something so cool and cosmic about breaking down and rearranging organic compounds to make anything you want, its unparalleled and that gets me excited! I also really liked what you said about Limbo and indecision. I use to use indecision as a way to avoid the pain of failure but I don't feel that way anymore. When I fail it stimulates my neurons and my brain has to work hard and shift perspectives to find a solution. Mistakes promote growth and are stepping stones on my journey.

thank you so much for all your content and for sharing your thoughts, valerie 🌷 i wanted to say thank you mainly because last week i started an entrance seminar to be accept in university for the first time and i've been watching your videos all these mornings to have motivation, inspiration, hope and confidence in myself. and most importantly, peace. you give me so much peace, i get really nervous very easily and kind of pessimistic but listening to your words and watching you paint, visit museums or walking in the park comforts me so much. also since i'm from a spanish speaking country and i'm currently studying english, i have to really excel in grammar, speaking, listening and writing in order to enter thi university so listening your pronunciation and your vocabulary helps me and encourages me to speak confidently before going to my class 🌈
Wow! Just the push I needed. This week I was thinking about all the stuff I wanted to do as a kid but never got to. One of them was setting up a home chemistry lab to teach myself more and open a world of possibilities unexplored by me.
