- I complete all the base character challenges in this video. I show you all the combo trials that are in the game. This took a long time to complete each character trials. As the game was brand new at the time when the video was made. It took time to get use to the controls of the game and how each character interactions uniquely when doing combos.

these make the marvel 3 combo challenges look like rocket science
stage3 boss this is beyond true
TO EVERYONE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THESE HERES SOME TIPS THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE HELPFUL
First off let me say I'm not at all a good fighting game player however I was able to to complete them all over a course of abaout 3 days with a regular PS4 controller so they're all in fact possible without great fighting game skils or a arcade stick. What I'm finding is that none of these combos are particularly difficult alot just have very precise timing that if you're a frame off will not land. Some also require slight delays or other tactics, heres some universal tips.
- I recommend using the analog stick for quarter circle (qcf, qcb) movements and the d-pad for single movements of the 4 cardinal directions (If the combo requires both following each other go with whatever feels most comfortable for you)
- If the game tells you to double jump the arrow points at an angle meaning you would have to press both up and either left or right to jump at that angle. YOU DO NOT have to do this for any combo with the exception of Andriod 16's 10th. (but I have a tip to show you how to get around this) You can double jump by just pressing up and be fine however the following input must come very quickly after the jump near simotaneously or Vegeta will jump out of it.
- Sometimes not all the time you can hold a button for an extended period of time to simplfy input timing. For example, Android 16's 10th combo has a square followed by a square + back, followed by a triangle. You can actually hold back for the entirety of these 3 inputs because the back input doesn't change the moves of the first square or the the triangle. This is the case for several combos with several different characters you'll have to just try it out and see which ones it works with.
- This game is not always friendly to double inputs sometimes so be very careful double tapping buttons, try to be as precise as possible and know some inputs don't need to be chained together as quickly as you may think
Now heres a few character combo specific tips for some I see people having a lot of trouble with, again I'm not pro just trying to share what worked for me.
Goku's 10th - This is the epitome is what I mean when I say the combos aren't difficult they're just on strict timing, theres no secret here, as soon as Goku hits the groud you just have to already be halfway done with the motion, just keep trying you will eventually get it.
Piccolo's 10th - After you vanish you can double tap X to insure it comes out but as soon as you see it has, start your next input.
Teen Gohan's 7th - Cancel the flight into the Motionless Kamahameha, literally as soon as you see Gohan has hit Vegeta start the QCF + R1.
Cell's 10th - Delay that crouching medium just bit, NOT LONG but just a bit.
Android 18's 10th - There is basically an input missing here, after you call out the assist attack JUMP (yes i know it doesn't tell you to but do it) and then dash TO YOUR RIGHT immediately start hitting square to finish the combo. This doesn't seem like it'll work but trust me, I've done it twice, 17's assist attack looks as if it keeps Vegeta on your right however once you air dash and Vegeta drops to where you're back in the frame you will be on the right and you need to catch him in the air and finish the combo. The game seems to assume you know you have to jump first because it is a "mid-air dash".
Kid Buu's 10th - This is an example of the double jump input I mentioned earlier you do not have to push up and right to successfully do this combo just up, HOWEVER light attack must come very quickly after that jump.
Android 16's 10th - For whatever reason the double jump trick would not work here however I found out if you perform this combo in the corner it does work because Vegeta no longer has room to fall out of the combo making it's input a little simplier.
Yamcha's 10th - Honestly it's just timing, that second Wolf Fang Fist is stubborn but just keep at it.
Gohans' 9th - Another example of not having to jump diagnolly just make sure that light attack comes out quick after the jump.
Hit's 10th - Delay that standing medium slightly and be prepared to execute the next 3 inputs in a very quick motion, you cannot miss a second here or it will drop.

There's a basic thing that I missed when I did the challenges, which is that Gohan's 10th requires you to drop very quickly using Down+A. Was scratching my head until I realized.

It took me some time, but I managed to complete them all eventually. Some of the combos are actually pretty tricky to land. Yeah, they look simple on the surface, until you try them yourself. But that's just me.
