That’s great. I too paint using oil sticks and I agree 100% in that is like sculpting.
love the look of these paintings. and her ideas sort of remind me of duchamp's 9 maleic moulds and his 9 standard stoppages.
I don’t get on with brushes at all so I tried knives but now I’m excited to try oil sticks.

I love your work. I just suggest you use gloves when working with oil. It’s very toxic and can cause nerve damage. Peace and blessings
