Certainly, product management encompasses a lot of what you've included there but I'm not sure adding them together as a formula is the right way to frame things. First, it implies that nothing else is included in the role (which isn't right). Second, it probably makes the job seem more mechanical than it really is... a lot of good product management requires figuring out where to dig in and isn't as simple as just doing project management or marketing, etc.
Excellent description! That's exactly what I was looking for. Great summary!!
Thanks Syed! Glad you found it helpful, more content on PM craft and interviews coming soon :)
Product management = project management (agile and traditional) + business analysis + marketing or (external products) change management (internal products)

My man, this was very well done.
Thanks Adam!
Great video. How does one get into this role with no experience whatsoever?
Thanks, check out our getting started with PM guide at www.rocketblocks.me for the answer to that!
Succinct. Can you make a video on Product vision and Mission
In addition to the 3 pillars discussed in the video, a Google PM would need to code on the job and also perform a coding interview
Nailed it
