  • The seam tracking technology in the TH6 reliably finds the weld joint in real time and guides the robot as fast as you can weld the part. Sturdy and unique, TH6 scans the joint in the XYZ axis to improve robot uptime and overall weld quality. Additionally, it seamlessly integrates with the YASKAWA MOTOMAN robotic interface making programming and data collection easy and reliable.

Once a test piece has been ran, tested, x-rayed even, it can produce part after part repeatability 24 / 7 / 365 until it needs gas or wire!
Absolutely great technology. I wish I was able to work, build, test or sell this kind of outstanding equipment. Congrats folks.

There are the end of the scene. Also, there, the torch was approaching the tack joint. How would the system behave next? Will it show an error?
I do not believe it will work properly while the laser encounter tack welding joint.

      Hey Adrian,
We've seen no negative impact on seam tracking/seam finding when tack welds are involved.
The sensor acknowledges that it "sees" a tack weld, and in combination with the robot software, filters it out and makes the proper adjustments.
