love marc benioff, think he’s a great person and an obvious visionary in business, and i even understand what he’s trying to say about separating the visionary aspects of a person from the problematic and provocative ones. but, there’s a line and it gets to a point where you just simply can’t separate those things without becoming complicit in it yourself and that’s where it’s disappointing, cuz he is such a genuinely decent human being. excusing elon because he’s innovative is like excusing hitler cuz he was an extremely effective leader at this point. it’s just a bit confounding
