"Armbåga dig framåt" isnt really the same as keep pressing on, as it has negative connotations. It's not that you are trying to reach your goals, it's that you are advancing in an inconsiderate manner, throwing others under the bus or pushing them aside as you do.
"Be kind to the people that you meet on your way up, you're gonna meet them on your way down."
THere's also the stronger "trampa över lik", which translates to "walk over corpses", which also denotes someone who advances in their career without caring about who they hurt or throw under the bus.
About (almost) shooting the hare - I think 'Close but no cigar' is the English closest equivalent
"Balsam för själen", should under no circumstances be translated using the word "conditioner", unless you're okey with a continuous rinse and repeat. I think that the word 'balsam' comes from the same root as the english word 'balm', which should be used. An alternative is 'solace', having a similar reference to "healing".
"A solace for the -sole- soul."
"A solace for the mind."
Soul*, sole is the bottom of your feet or shoes.

Her name, "Saga", means "Fairy Tale" in Swedish. You seemed to find the name interesting, so now you know more about it :)
The english language have the same word "saga". Though in swedish the word does tend more towards the meaning 'fairy tale', than the english word 'saga' which tends towards the meaning of 'a long and great story' (ie, less fairy).
She's from Skåne. (The southernmost part of Sweden) and down there they speak way differently than the rest of the country. Especially the "R" sound.

"Det är ingen ko på isen".
"No cows on the ice". ("There's no cow on the ice", is the direct translation.)
It means that a situation is not too serious.
"Well, it's troublesome, but there's no cows ice."
Cows are heavy, and their hooves have small "footprints", a combination prone to break through the ice. Which would be fatal for a cow. So if a farmer saw their cow on the ice, quick effort would be made to get the cow ashore.
But that's just half the expression. I suppose that you haven't that much experience with cows?

A cow on ice is either hilarious or terrible... They haven't got the balance for sliding around on ice, but as long as the aft two legs are still on land, it can manage by itself... so it isn't an emergency - yet - but not far off. Perhaps still time to stop it.
You can youtube for cows on ice if you like.

Meaning: No need to worry, it will be alright.
A cow's hoofs doesn't function well on ice.

@@SteamboatW They look happy and smiling, Danish Trolls are harmless, if you treat them well. Swedish Trolls are absolutely not harmless, they can actually be very bloodthirsty. You don't see them happy or smiling. So be very careful in the big Swedish woods.

This is not a good video I'm afraid. She leaves half-truths and half the origin.
So, the whole saying about Trolls is "när man talar om trollen står de i farstun" or "When you speak about Trolls, they're standing at your door." Since everybody used to know the whole saying, it have been shortened to just "När man talar om trollen...".
"Tagen på sängen" doesn't really mean "taken" in English, but more like "surprised in bed" i.e. surprised, taken unaware, being surprised unprepared or surprised with your pants down.
In "balsam för själen" they're not talking about hair conditioner, but a balm for the soul. A soothing oil or balm.
"Pest or Kolera" is like between a rock and a hard place or between Scylla and Charybdis.
