In this video we continue our dinosaur park in Jurassic World Evolution 2 that aims to recreate Jurassic World with a focus on dinosaur welfare. We add a pack of Velociraptors to our new carnivore habitat!

I bought this game thanks to your videos! My parks don’t look as nice as yours though 😅
Regarding the ethical dilemma with the live prey feeder: what I did in my park is put the regular carnivore feeder in the habitat as well as the live prey feeder. (I like to assume that the source of the meat in the regular feeder was slaughtered as humanely as possible)The carnivores will eat from the regular feeder most of the time, and only occasionally hunt a goat. That way everyone’s needs are satisfied, and (in theory) they go through fewer goats because they’re not the only source of food anymore. Only annoying thing is sometimes the regular feeder gets contaminated and can make the dinos sick. But if you catch it in time and deactivate the feeder until your ranger team can disinfect it, you shouldn’t have a huge problem. Love this series! Can’t wait to see more!

I was having similar issues with ranger teams not going to their posts, but i could assign them to check a single dinosaur and they would. I was thinking it had to do with the walking path/roads because it would only do it when they were near a particular path and width of path. If i did the regular road on the narrow size near their station, it seemed to somewhat fix it. Same with paths they had to drive over to get to cages.
I actually think it's a bug related to that particular location/world, whenever I try to build in the Jurassic World map I get that error message constantly.

I’d love to see some of the raptors named after the ones from the original Jurassic World: Blue, Charlie, Delta and Echo! If you decide to add more, it would also be fun to have one named Indo in reference to the indoraptor from Fallen Kingdom. Thanks for uploading, I don’t think I would have gotten into these kinds of games had I not found your channel!
Another fun fact about about the JP raptors, is that Michael Crichton based their descriptions in his books on the Deinonychus, but kept the name Velociraptor because it sounded more intimidating.
As always got me panicking by not reinforcing them gates… you know they’re gonna hop out eventually 😂

What I like best about sandbox mode. Is if your a role-playing style player. It's so friendly for sorta your own head cannon. Like the pictures you take of the dinosaurs being something sold at shops. Perhaps the pictures are put on lunch boxes or there made into postcards. It that sorta thing that makes the game even more fun. An for me makes it work taking photos period.

As someone who works with animals, generally as long as the prey animal is killed quickly with minimal stress, it is considered ethical for them to be hunted. Goat are naturally prey animals who would be hunted down by wolves and bears and other game. Better they (hypothetically) be raised to be fat and heathy with good care and die in a controlled environment than they have to scavenge and starve for food like in the wild. A deer is stressed when it is shot (since they don't die immediately) but it lives a good life before and is considered ethical to hunt it.

2:47 I have a similar problem on my Xbox. It seems like the rangers can't drive through thicker vegetation. Even if I move them manually it's like pressing the gas pedal doesn't do anything once you're too close to a forest

Hey PawsBuild, i really love this series and your previous jurrasic park one too! i really hope you plan on doing all 20 dinosaur species that were shown in the movie! especially the pterosaurs, another thing, i really think you should cosmetically decorate your park more too, make it feel like a real theme park! keep up the videos man
I feel like it would be unique to name a set of dinosaurs after nuts. Peanut, Almond, Maccy(macadamia nut), so on and so forth. Love the series, absolutely love the fact you aren't abusing mechanics, rather getting into the mindset of the actual game

The Jurassic Park/ World Velociraptor relates more to the Utah Raptor then it does to the IRL velociraptor. So the Utah Raptor might get you some more accurate facts to this “upscaled Velociraptor” 😅

I have watched every episode of this series and it has encouraged me to get back into the game! I play this game with my dad (one of us would use the controller while we worked together to plan the park). This game brings back so many memories, thank you!! While I was playing recently I found a feature that I think you’d love. You can favorite certain dinosaurs and whenever they do cute interactions (socializing, hunting, etc) it’ll ping you on the map so you can watch the dinosaurs do their thing! I’ve loved messing around with this feature and I personally like to favorite one of each species so I can see the beautiful animations for every species. Keep up the fantastic videos! :D

Rangers not being able to reach their destination, even when they very clearly can.. Is a known bug. An annoying one too.
Hopefully one day they'll fix it if they haven't & I'm unaware. Another one that I don't know if it's been fixed or not but smaller dinos can somewhat teleport from one side of a fence to another so if you have random escapees then, they haven't fixed the bug lol

I'm not a huge fan of the monorail line from the Velociraptors back to the herbivores, but as the park grows hopefully that line gets pushed closer to the edges of the park. Everything else is looking great though, and I'm really glad there is a lot more research this season compared to the first one. Keep it up Paws!

this is good too! kinda jelly yall can play this since i got a stupid mac laptop only but someday i'll do videos like this too with this game! i like how im not the only one that wants them to be 90% if not 100% of everything since i know many youtubers that do the bare minimum and it hurts me to see such things as an animal lover and wildlife biology student. im so glad you're doing it ethical at 100% and cant wait to see how far this goes!

The clever girls have arrived. Question, in the jurassic world movie there was a herbivore valley with different species coexisting with each other. Where are you going to place the valley in the park? Also what are you to put with the pachys. Great video.

I've got a few names suggestions for the raptors. You could call one snippet, chomp, or even fang.
The raptors in Jurassic park are California raptors and the size isn’t wrong for the California raptor.
The California raptor was discovered a couple of years after Jurassic park came out, and you guessed it they where discovered in California
naming your vegan restaurant after a canivore is ironic
I feel like a smart decision would be to decorate the habitats of the creatures more with logs specific trees and rocks to make it look like the envorment the might have lived in if they were currently alive. Idk just a little idea 😅

I was going to suggest a rollercoaster in the raptor paddock, which is the story of Jurassic World Velocicoaster at Universal Orlando. However, I'm not sure that fits the whole "Dinosaur welfare" thing to have a roller coaster wizzing through the raptor paddock. Also, I don't play this game so I'm not even sure that's something you can even do
About the ranger teams not being able to reach their destination. That seems to be a recurring thing for other people as well. My experience is that it's due to the pathing being messed up with the Jurassic World response center (or whatever the building that sends out the ranger teams is called.) The Jurassic Park version of the building works just fine for me, as does the other non-JW version. The JW building seems to mess up the pathing for the jeeps as they try to leave and go about their business. Tl;dr - switch to the JP response centers for a little bit and see if that clears it up for you?

Do you have the Biosyn DLC? Because it'd be better if you used the invisible fences. The only downside is that when powered off dinosaurs can easily escape.
