I prefer the “left-handed” set up as a right-handed person. I shoot my bow the same way. I prefer to control the rod/bow with my dominant hand 🤷🏾‍♂️

Yes. Some do have gaskets some even have those off set spacers. However it is when you take it apart just swap side and reassemble the same way.

I'm right handed and I just wanted it to swap it to a left hand retrieve, so I don't have to keep swapping the pole over after casting

Always having to switch new reels from the standard right to the left. At least there is always a right side. Sometimes reels don't even have a left hand side.
