My name is Kian (23), I have a quirky sense of humour, and my favourite organ is the kidney (who makes regular appearances in my videos).
Should all things go according to plan I will be graduating with my MD come 2022! My goal with this channel is to share the RAW and REALISTIC parts of being a medical student through my personal experience to better inform people who are interested in medical school...or at least make you smile

I primarily assisted in Vascular surgeries when I first became a Surgical Assistant. I LOVED it. I eventually transitioned into neurospine. Loved that as well but will always have a love of Vascular. I retired from the OR six years ago and this made me miss it very much.

The more I'm watching, the more I get the feeling that this is not what I want. I'm already in 3rd year in MBBS and I'm getting the idea of either changing now or graduated then look for a reconversion.
Where I am, MBBS last for 6 years
I’m in my fifth year I wish I stopped when I first realised because it just gets harder to put in the work because as time passes you become more certain it isn’t what you want. I hope you find the courage to do what’s best for you

Awesome video! I'm starting rounds in July - you should do a video on your studying workflow for how you decompress after a day and learn and get ready for the next day (such as Anki, Notability, Notion, MS word, whatever)

I’ve been watching you for so long and you are so inspiring!! I always have doubts about becoming a doctor/surgeon but everytime I watch you all of my doubts just fly away💀 honestly the thing is I’m not doing so well in school right now which is making me stressed but hopefully it gets better because becoming a surgeon is my dreeeammm and it’s been my dream for so long!!

Why does the patient have to be awake for a stent? I've had 4 heart attacks and it hurts when they go through my wrist or groin.

I thought i recognised a hospital a while a back from an ig story maybe?!! I used to work at that hostel a few summers back and also struggled to sleep it got so hot!! Lowkey amazed you stayed there/in a hostel environment and still worked those crazy hours!
