I visited both places, khaptad and Rara. I didn't record video but your video reminds me the same rocks, wooden bridges and rivers. I always love to be in the lap of himalaya. Just looking the mountains makes me so peaceful. missing my land so much...

My house is somewhere in the route to tsum valley. isnt it beautiful? i love Khaptad area too. yes, i live in tokyo and feel totally lost while living in the high rise apartment and running in the underground train station to catch the train in time 🥲 We should live in close connection with nature... one day i will quit the job and return back to live with my mountains ❤
Me also travel to all these places .It is really nice treak. You saw rara,khapatad ,jumla.From martadi you miss one treak to badimalika.The most beautiful palce to vist.Nice video to watch.

It is a sad-happy tale for far-west. Sad because, the region has yet to explore its potential and experience development. Happy for the fact that, because of this isolation, it has a pure natural beauty.
This is very true, a difficult conundrum. Although there are certainly ways for development to happen that can conserve the natural beauty of a place and support the livelihoods of the local communities. With the right leadership and the right intentions, this would be possible.
Thank you for introducing rural far-western karnali region through your vlog. These places look amazing. Not everybody can make all the way to these rural places.

Hi Asad! Sorry for my slow response, maybe you already in Khaptad visiting?? It will be very rainy and wet there this time of year, as it is the middle of monsoon season now. We did this trek in the beginning of October. It was beautiful weather for the most part, although we did get a bit of rain and quite a bit of fog in Khaptad National Park!

Thank you so much Sujan! I'm not sure exactly, but looking at the map, there might be a trail that separates to Badi Malika somewhere between where we were traveling east from Dogadi to Martadi. Or maybe you would exit Khaptad National Park at a different place than we did. Badi Malika looks like it's like 15 km south of Martadi, but I wonder how exactly the trail would go. @@sujanpaudel1 You will definitely make it, and it is going to be an amazing trip! I would just recommend possibly bringing a tent, as there might not always be a place to stay at night, and it’s a good peace of mind to have it along. We were definitely glad we had it! We also had a stove and a few easy to cook dehydrated meals for a few longer stretches during the day where we didn’t find a place to eat khana. Please let me know if there’s any other questions that I could possibly answer! And can’t wait to hear about your journey :)

That's very true, most of Nepal has such steep ups and downs, but Khaptad was a bit different in that way (although still with its share of hills!). Such a gorgeous place, isn't it?

@@StephThorntonNEPAL it's not amateur...what you have presented is man's eye view...and that's what one sees ( most people ) but travelling the place with Drone ( Birds Eye ) shot view is not visible ...and glad you enjoyed with living people's lifestyle and nature ...usually most people only travels for Nature or Natural Beauty but ignores living lifestyle of local people....Huge respect for bringing the living lifestyles of general place and public ....Thank you ..Awesome work.

Yes, this was definitely one of my favorite adventures in Nepal and I thought Bajura was one of the most beautiful districts that I’ve seen!

nepal doesn't really have much rolling hills as its mostly steep hills, khaptad has rolling hills and medows. which i think looks like alps.
